Here is the footage of Mikey's Integra catching on fire. It was quite difficult to watch as most people nearby were helpless to do anything. I hope he gets his car fixed up soon.

you did good all night man nice job consistant and how many passes did you get like 9? haha that was crazy seems like the q16 cars had a pretty big field and got a lot of passes in</TD></TR></TABLE>

Thanks man..I think i got about 6-7 passes....First pass somehow my car spun in 3rd which has never happened anywhere...i guess i got out of the grove ... ended up runnin a 13.6@114 2nd pass was a 12.9@117...

I dialed a 12.8 because i know i can do better than that and i wanted to give my self a little coushin...i was cutting ok lights...i was just trying to get ahead of the other person and stay ahead by about a car .... its a good thing thats all i was doing because one of the passes if i had stayed in it would have been about a 12.6 pass.... ended up running a 13.4@92 that pass It was way fun!!! at woodburn ill have my car a bit more dialed in and ready!!!

if you follow the rule books and do it right, there wont be a problem with the techs at woodburn. i've been dealing with them for 6 years.

It was good meeting alot of you guys there, i was the only one there rocking the Garage 808 shirt.

I'll see you all at Woodburn. stop by and B.s, i'll have my enclosed out there for a hang-out, as i have no car for it

Here are some of the pictures I took. As it got darker, my camera became useless so I was not able to take good pictures during eliminations. I must add that this is the best BOTI at PIR I've attended in years, even dating back to the glory days. Spectator turnout was good, racer turnout was great. The presence of the big name Pros made the event better than ever before. And I must mention that the amount of fast cars, not only from the pros, but from the local guys that drove in from the streets with their daily drivers, have increased tremendously. It was not uncommon to see the field with multiple 10, 11 and 12 second streetcars n/a or fi. It was refreshing to see as I have witnessed the sport in decline for the past few years. I think and hope that this can only get better.

Onto the pics

Wow awsome event i live for battle every year. And this year was a very good turn out alot more sc turbo and all motor cars. I had a long week got my car off the dyno at about 3pm sat and first run shatered the oil pump lame but atleast the motor is stiil ok and the car ran a 11.2 coasting out of third lol . Alot of us local guys wernt expecting the 2500 min weight last year there wasnt any scales at pacific alot of guys in are crew got dq for being under weight including my car lol.. Thanks willie fast for the oil pump i would of threw it in if i wasnt under weight. Awsome turn out cant wait for woodburn!! Oh ya and some punk jacked my fire jacket off the top of my car when i went to the bathroom ive never had anything messed with at the track lame.

Not sure what BOTI you were at. But even the BOTI staff said that there was almost double the cars from last year. Also Bergenholtz said that other than Vegas, this was the biggest turnout. The NW showed their support. I hope it has the same effect in Woodburn.

Congrats to everyone on coming out and being a part of the weekend. This is the support we need to show to keep BOTI and other possibly other events coming out.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Hey does your car have NOS or a Turbo?

I was there last year also. Even car wise it seemed like there was more last year. And this year there was definately less spectators. i dont know i just remember when the ***** were dancing on stage last year you could barely walk through there was so many people.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by SOHCinWA &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">If Woodburn host as many people as Seattle did, it will be a great weekend.. The NW needs to continue to show their support for our sport.

You guys need to make sure that you make weight in your respective classes. We had quite a few cars not make it in because they were too light. If you dont know what it should weigh, goto boti.com and check the rules.

Also , make sure that your windshield is not all cracked. You may not pass tech inspection with that broken windshield. People using a "Catch Can" make sure it is at least a 2 quart in capacity. Relocated batteries need to have a battery shut off switch in the rear of the car... These are all things that we saw in Tech inspection that some people were not allowed to race in the event.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yea also (to the homo in the red eg hatch with white volks that broke) PULL OFF TO THE SIDE WHEN YOU BREAK. dont stay in the middle and see how far you can coast while your dumping oil on the track.

And last to the wonderfull pacific raceway staff again this year **** all i need to say about them is heaven forbid if someone ever crashes at pasific raceway. We all saw how fast they responded to the red integra when it was on fire.

Did anybody notice if it was a bit slick up top by the 1000ft mark? i noticed a few cars having trouble up there.... Bub and Will looked like they had some issues up there and TJ (white CRX) said his car pulled up there too...
