BOTI
Im working on some vids now; I just got home and settled down. I have vids of CRPTurbo'ed cars, Intec's crew, the Pro class, and the class I was repping for, S/P.
I was a little upset to see unknowledgable fans that were in the way in the pits or acting stupid.
I have an awesome vid of "JDM" or Matt as I know him from Intec going up against ndogg or nate. They both break axels right at the green. They both got the cars off the track asap, and as real racers do; shared tools and helped each other get them back on the track in under 20 minutes.
Props to Nate though. He worked hard for that title. He's been talking **** about winning this BOTI for hella long!
Still wish Turbo Technology would have finished my car in time.
See ya'll next year.
And yeah Tech always sucks when you drive "Just a Honda"
AbaZ: Wasnt that Kia you turbo'ed there? (at least I think your the one that turboed that thing)

Catch Can was the second time; 1st time was the oil filter if I recall that correctly.

Re: (WillieWillieFast)
I just wanted to say thanks to Mike and Frank for coming up here again this year. The turnout was pretty good, lots of quick turbo cars and all pretty much local. I also wanted to appologize for slowing up the day with my mysterious oil problem. I found out what it was, nothing serious just too much work on not enough time so some small things went overlooked. I will be back out to test and tune more before the summer is gone. The one pass that I got to make was very educating . This year the car is totally different, from the motor to the suspension. It was nice to meet Dustin and see his "Trap Door" trick on the tranny case in person. When is the next race? Is there an event at Woodburn coming up? Thanks to everyone that stopped by the pits. Congrats to Nate for winning his class and all the other winners.

Re: BOTI (AbaZ)
My first BOTI experience = wow. It was a fun/long/interesting day. Started off with me meeting up w/some of the homemadeturbo cats and driving down there. We then met up with some of mine and Jeff (AbaZ)'s Nissan buddies once down there. We then waited for a LONG LONG LONG time to race. One of my friends got there late and was on the track before I was. I got to "win" the street stock class though, LoL. I wish I had more chances to race, but I guess that's what happens when you go on THE import day. I guess Tech did a fair job with me (hood popped, looked over, etc.), but I hear that they were being bastards to most people. My general impression of the staff at PR is that they don't care much for imports... they treat us like **** it seems, knowing that we'll still pay to race there because we have to. Either way some of my highlights were:
-Seeing a ton of familiar faces. It's always good to kick it with people you don't see regularly.
-Watching a huge amount of fast cars. That WorldOne CRX (Beau's twin) did a 9.7, I got to see Dave (Leed) hit an 11.7, Bisi doing 10's in his Insight, and many more cars. Seeing 1 2 NV make a few passes was sweet too. LoL, I do believe you're a local celebrity because some friends and I saw you drive the hatch by and were like "hey, that's that 1 2 NV guy!" Also, my friend in the 300ZX TT was able to hang in the S/T class for a bit. He was at a serious disadvantage running **** tires and a stock turbo (no one else had a stock turbo I believe) so it was cool to see him hit that 12.9.
-LoL, seconds after that picture of me, Jeff, and our buddy Nollan was taken in front of the turbo Kia, we were surrounded by 10+ people.
-FINALLY hitting 14's (all I wanted was a 14.6 out of what's on my car right now). It's funny that I'm happy about 14's, but in an extremely MILD-NA, heavy GS-R, it's something to be happy about. I did a 14.6 @ 95.5 mph with a 2.4 60', so I think I could do better if I could improve my launches.
-I "won" the class that I went to compete in - Street Stock (NA 4 Cylinders, no swaps allowed). LoL, what actually happened was I was the only person to enter in the class. I made a qualifying pass, and the announcer goes "something tells me that this Green Integra is going to win." It doesn't feel like a good/fair win because I didn't get to race anyone (I really wanted to run against some Type R's), but **** it, I spent a bit of time getting my car ready to compete for this event, so I figured I'd earned it somewhat. I really wanted to race some people though.
All in all, it was a pretty fun time. It was cool to kick it, hit my modest goal of 14.6 for my GS-R, and win some neat-o stuff for pretty much racing by myself:
-You might recognize this GS-R as the ONLY one in lane 6, the S/S lane. It was lonley...
-I only got $50 since I was the only one in the class. It's not enough to cover the gas, food, little bits and pieces I did to prep for the event, and the admission fee, but it's nice to get something back. Next year, some of y'all with GS-R's, ITR's, S2K's, etc. should enter in this class. If I'm still NA (hopefully not), I'll be running in it. I think there was just a general lack of information going on. The BOTI tech asked me if I was doing fun runs or brackets, and I just said "street stock."
To the people that run BOTI - I hope that you guys were happy with the turnout, and it's worth it to come back to the NW next year. Thanks for throwing a great event!
...Sorry about the long post, it was a long day and I kinda wanted to cover what I saw/experienced.
PS - not sure if anyone could answer this, but did Nate / N-Dogg go to UW? I ask because I know he drives a turbo hatch, and I saw someone that looked like him. We used to live on the same floor when we dormed...

^^ loved the video.
Had a great time at BOTI this year. Got to see some old friends from down south, a **** ton of fast cars, and ran my new personal best
11.79 @ 121 in the black CRX.
The no hood popper tech was pretty sweet too, lol
