Block off all ways for mice to get into the car. That means all holes in the firewall.
Remove all mouse food and removable nesting from within the car. This means tissues too.
If you can or will be trying to kill any in the car, it's going to be in your best bet to catch them when you do, so I'm not so sure poisons are a great idea.
Be prepared to disassemble parts of the car, such as the blower, since they might have nested already.
I've seen other people make enclosures out of boards and flexible sheet metal. They make a wall around the car about a foot tall and swing a "door" open to remove the car from the enclosure when they need to.
I've never done this, but read a bit on it before.

Blast the heater on in the car until they can't stand the heat and leave or get a trap and set it in the car. Gotta hurry up or they might start chewing on you wires.

Yeah get them out asap. I had a customer come in with a smell in their explorer. they said they turned on the heat and it sounded like "ice in a blender" then started to smell really bad. The mice had made a nest around the blower motor, and as soon as they turned on the heat, it ground them up and splattered them all through the vents.

Try mouse traps with peanut butter on them. Haha i had a mousetrap in my garage for weeks with cheese on it with no results. i put peanut butter on it and within 20 mins i caught the mouse. Try and find where the nest is and clean it out.

Yep. Peanut butter works great.
I wouldn't turn the heat on unless you want ground up baby mice bits all over the place.

omg, put on a thick clove so they cant bite you and grab the thing, they arent like bulls or anything, just pick it up and throw it across the street into the neighbors soft grass, no harm done, and you dont look like a wuss. problem solved
