help me please, i want to swap my '85 carb engine with Si. what should i do? swap the distributor, intake manifold, and ECU is it correct?

maybe in the spring i will hit the local dyno and see what shes got.i'm thinkin 180-190 whp.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait, vinny takes alot of the best car pictures i've seen in my short life here on earth lol Good choice on the new wheels they fit the car perfectly.

Great write up. I am rebuilding an 86 SI and I am running into issues finding parts. Any help with an exhaust or header would be great. I have searched my fingers off. I have the same rust issues you had. Lots of fun!

yes but don't worry i have a 100% rust free chassis from seattle washington.i have already begun body work and hope to be done by spring. with no rust to fix this ones gonna go quick. 90% of all the parts are still ok and will go on the new chassis. this time we are painting it greek white. i will post some pics as we go along to this thread.

here is a couple shots of the wreckage



i was heart broken when this happened. the good news is i'm still here for my family.
and now the new chassis



in the end i will have a better car.
