HI EVERYBODY!
hello everyone im new to the honda-tech forums, but not new to hondas being as i own a 2007 cbr600rr and im a former owner of a 2003 ep hatch and now im the VERY PROUD owner of a 1983 honda civic wagon with 69,000 original miles... i bought my wagon for 750$ and my reason for joining this was to find out a as much info as possible about my lil gem and how much its possibly worth... im not really sure if i got a GREAT deal or if its a bust, but i can tell ya this about it, not a spot of rust, zero black gunk under the hood and pretty much anywhere on the car, zero sign of wear and tear anywhere on the car, the interior is perfect, perfect, perfect and it runs like its BRAND NEW. im happy with what i paid for it, but whats it really worth? KBB isnt helping much...

Re: HI EVERYBODY!
Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on it. Classic Honda aside, just about any economical car nowadays that's a good runner, and able to pass inspection, should bring at least $1,000.00. Add in it's somewhat collectability, low miles, over all great condition, without seeing pics I would say your car is worth $1500 - $2500.

Re: HI EVERYBODY!
dude, no pics, no comments. and give it more than 2 hours next time. with classics, very few of us own one and we don't hang out here 24/7. BUT, enjoy your stay. this is the best place for a lot of info. if we don't know it, we can find out for you or know a message board that can.

Re: HI EVERYBODY!
Welcome...
I also have an 83 Wagon. I payed I think $1400 for mine. Mine was in pretty good shape, but has a lot more miles. Mine's been in deconstruction for a while and is now getting put back together. New paint, about to have a 96 Integra LS swap, VW Recaro's up front, and a couple more tricks.
Post some pictures up of your wagon when you get a chance.
And like the others said...be kind on here and people will be nice. And even though you'll ask for help sometimes after you use the search function, people will still freak out and act elitist because that's the model they've seen on here. Don't join that part of the H-T experience.
Good luck,
Rut
Oh..here's a few of my wagon

Hey dude welcome to Honda tech. Glad to here another person whos rollin in a 2nd gen civic lol. I got a 1982 Civic 1300 4 speed 2 door hatch that i got for one hell of a deal. I purchased mine from a dude on craigslist for $400. The only thing stopping it from being driviable is the tranny is messed up (probly just the clutch) But if any body wants to see it, tell me an ill post some pics here. But anyways on ur car from the sound of it, it sounds like you got ur self a great deal on that car. so congrats to u
