anyways, painters getting the interior paint done and painted on top of the welded spots. taking out all the upholstery. i dropped by teluk intan yesterday and saw a toyota sera, future japanese nostalgic car for sure! hahaha. teluk intan is an ex british train/port known as a point for sending tin mining by ships back to the UK in the older days. nostalgic enough to see the leaning tower of teluk intan, which mimics pisa in italy and also has oriental architecture with british engineering! haha

It is so nice to see you restoring such a special car - and thank God you are at a place that doesn't break the bank doing it !! Too bad the good camera died. I just found this thread and have read it through. You show great patience in this project. After you get it put back together be sure to wash & wax it regularly. I think your body man was really very good and old school. In the USA today they have a lot of short cuts that pale in comparison to people that actually manipulate the metal to arrive at a flowing design - and it costs a fortune.

Re: 1965 Honda S600 Coupe owner
As my Volvo's XC90 T6 twin turbo inline 6 turbines are dying, they are taken out and to be replaced with reconditioned ones. I wonder if I could take out the old ones, the one which is not broken and put them in my S600, low boosted S600, quad throttle and high revving, sounds crazy! LOL
And here's the dashboard, being reconditioned, retrimmed and polished! All thanks to GLS upholstery in USJ, Selangor, Malaysia.
Call Willie @ 012-366 8436 if you need help in your upholstery and dashboard

It's Proton Arena/Jumbuck, a locally produced pickup truck that is based on the Mitsubishi Lancer CC. It's pretty common down under in Australia, perhaps not seen in anywhere else in the world

Dash Insert came from Japan Yahoo Auctions :D
Subsituting bits here and there from both the dash insert to complete the interior. Note that the original one from the car was cut out to make switches, where the other one has some chipped damage.

Re: 1965 Honda S600 Coupe owner
thanks for the support again guys
As I await the arrival of my Crank bearing shaft from Canada, here is a book I bought from Kinokuniya Book store in Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC. Cost RM110, about 2000 yen as according to the magazine cover. Pretty hard and rare to find S car related books and literature in the country, especially by known car magazine, Nostalgic Hero, in this Extra Edition. Lots of pages about the S600, S800, L700, P800 and N360, interesting!
