Alright so the cars a 1995 Honda Civic 5 speed. I got this vioer 5704 car alarm and wired it up myself like 6 months ago. worked like a charm. Remote start was perfect locked unlocked lights flashed etc. all of a sudden about a month ago the lights started flickering when it was in remote start mode, like they wrote losing power or the connection was weak. Figure maybe one of my solder joints wasn't as solid as I thought. Then all of a sudden 3 weeks or so ago they just quit. Lock or unlock they don't flash anymore or come on when it's in remote start mode. Not only that but the blue led on the antennae no longer flashes as well. This really sucks cuz it's the most effective deterrent to anti theft in my opinion. And lastly when attempting to remote start it now it goes through the turn off procedure where I push the button and it stays running after I pull the key out, but when I attempt to start it the next day or whenever it doesn't. It simply bumps the engine and stops, as though someone turned the key then very quickly turned it back to off before it started and since the antennae led doesn't blink I can't even check the error code.

So obviously the first thing I did was check fuses and the parking light wire where it's plugged into the brain and it isn't sending any voltage when I lock or unlock the car. I'm pretty confused considering EVERYTHING else seems to be working besides those 3, does it sound like perhaps the brain has shorted or gone bad in some way, or is there some secret viper thing I can do to fix this

TLDNR:
Viper 5704 Alarm. Everything worked fine for 5 months. Now parking lights don't flash, antannae LED does not flash ever, and remote start stopped working.

Sounds live a 5901 brain..... Make sure its properly grounded and powered. Check the parking light fuse on the brain. And if that fails. Head back to the dealer that sold it to you.

Got it off amazon lol. It worked perfectly for a couple months so i'm pretty sure its the right brain. Guess I'll just have to contact amazon.
