too many tweeters?
hi i just recently upgraded to a pair of 4 way rear speakers that already have two tweeters in each and I have one tweeter hooked up with my front speaker on the passenger side - i was wondering if adding one more tweeter to the driver side would be a little too much or can one not have too many tweeters?

Re: too many tweeters?
..You want it equal. I would say add another tweeter to your front passenger side. You should only need 1 on both side up front...

First, you should not have any tweeters behind you, they will make staging your system impossible and proper imaging would be impossible.
Second, one pair of tweeters in the front is all that is needed or wanted, [unless a second set are properly "coupled" with the first set] having the same frequencies coming from different points will play havoc with phasing and time alignment.
If you want good SQ keep it clean and simple, if you want good SQ and loud get more power, [watts]. 94

Yes, way overkill.

Re: too many tweeters?
in the rear you dont have 4 tweeters 4 way speakers are not 4 tweeters
they still have a woffer, a mid or two mids, and a tweeter.
loose the 4 ways and look into a set of 3 ways.
i have cliff designs 3 ways and the are unbealiveable, bass pounds, but still have great highs not the cheapest but worth it.
