ripping out the alarm
Today was the day i had it.. driving to school and as im shifting into 5th on the highway the crappy cheap viper alarm that came with the car (the brain)decideds to fall out from under the dashboard and lodge itself under my clutch.. get to school, try to prop it back on from the 2yr old wiretape i just happened to have in my backpack and it falls on my mouth and gives me a nice fat lip... its evil..
Besides I plan on getting a better alarm soon so how hard is it to pull this alarm out. Its like a realy old cheap viper with 2 gray buttons on the 'mote
Sorry for the blab had to vent it out mmy lip hurts

Not hard at all. Disassemble underdash so you have a better view of the connections and trace wires from the brain back to the wire into which they're spliced... Cut/desolder and insulate accordingly...

basically u can unplug it and reconnect ur starter wire just to make sure everything's cool. then when u get a better alarm installed, the installer will gut out the old harness. depending on ur alarm u may not have to reconnect the starter if its' hooked up via an external relay. drop the underdash and take a look. if u wanna get some pics of ur underdash i can circle what needs done.
