No. You can get all the access you need by taking off the plastic cover for the pockets beneath the radio.
If your aftermarket stereo falls back in there it's because you need the cage for it. Go to a stereo shop and beg or buy one of their spare cages for your particular brand of radio. Stick it in the hole and bend the tabs out, then slip your radio inside.

Re: Radio falls into the readio bezel hole (suspendedHatch)
I have the cage, I can install stuff but I dont want to break the entire surrounding thing. Im going to start to take it apart so I can pull it out. I have a 92 DX as a parts car, so im going to pull it from that.
Suspended I might hit you up for an alarm install soon, you still doing that on the side?

Re: Radio falls into the readio bezel hole (fcm)
Ok I think im not explaining myself correctly.
This car got the radio stolen once. They broke the Radio Bezel the thing the tabs hold on to so the radio doesnt fall out.
So now the radio falls into the side that was broken. The tabs arent long enough to reach the broken plastic now.
So I need to replace the entire Bezel. I have one. How do I take it off?
The area to what the cage attaches too.

Nah I'm basically retired from doing side jobs. I can't take the long hours required to do a stealth install anymore. Not when customers always need it done the same day, not when they tell me that $250 for labor is steep. Everyone needs a day off. Even a poor *** bastard like myself.
