Which is the best in your opinion? I'm for pros and cons. I don't know if I read it correctly on the Clifford's site (http://www.clifford.com/Produc...D=718), but do you have to pay like some kind of "subscription" for your alarm to work? Say I buy the platinum package, it says 36 months of service, so I would have to pay $300 again after my 36-month term ends? Does LoJack do something like this where I have to pay for a certain term? Thank you in advance.

PS
C'mon wrx-killer-Sti-eater and suspendedHatch, I know you guys want to help me out

Lojack? I see you're from socal, better hope they don't make it to mexico. Not sure about the Clifford as far as the GPS. As far as I am concerned, I would rather have the Clifford.

Yeah, I heard about that problem which would be a major con for LoJack.

To make this easier, lets put all your post in one thread.

Yes in three years you will have to renew your gps account. And yes its better then lo-jack. Lo-jack does not work across th border. gps does. Also lo-jack is a beakon that a cop has to drive around to find. Gps is not. It gives the location of th car withen 15 feet. It also does so much more then lo-jack. When you run out of hits. Which I am sure you won't. The alarm stl functions as normal. But you won't be able to track the car.

What would you rather have.

lo-jack- A theif takes the car and is driving it around hits a hiding spot and breaks the car down for lo-jack. Knowing that lo-jack does not give a flying hell about it install policy and throws it in a spot were everybody knows. That's why all these itr and gsr and si civics are still missing. And there is no more beckon for The cops to follow and now the theif is safe with your car.

Or.

Clifford 210c- Gives real time information on were the car is at all time. Is accurate up to 10-15 feet. If install right the theif will not know its there until its to late. Works over the boarder and will let you know if its over the boarder. Has early warning system far better then lo-jack.Call time from the car is about two min from the first trigger. compared to lo-jacks 5-15-45 min. This could prevent te theft all along. And installed right from the start with alarm the theif would have to use a tow truck.

Not hard to pick. I would use both unit if yur money is right. As the lo-jack as a layer and the gps as my fool proof.
