Just a little FYI...
Using an in dash monitor for GPS purposes is legal in all 50 states... Some of HT moderators might wanna start hittin the books before they start pullin flags on topics... Wouldnt want u to lose ur job...

You mentioned nothing about GPS in your thread. Full motion video within view of the driver is illegal in most areas. Not only is it illegal, it's very unsafe. Therefore, your thread was locked.

Not familiar with that particular unit, but units I have dealt with all have full GPS functionality while driving. Bypassing the safety feature that prevents viewing DVD's while driving serves only that purpose.

Exactly smart guy... UNITS YOU'VE DEALT WITH... Obviously you've never seen the Clarion Unit i'm talking about, which doesnt have built in GPS tuner but is compatible with the Alpine GPS system that I want to install to it... And I was quite sure you wouldn't lose your job, but I did make this instance aware to other moderators who are looking into it... Funny how people bitch about u a lot lol... We are not going to tell anyone on how to bypass any safety features on any units. Period. It is a against the law in all 50 states for the driver to watch a moving picture. Period. So I am glad yo figured it out you bone head. So if you kill someone mother, father or child. I hope your are prosecuted to the furthered extent of the law. Or take that $800 ticket. Because it will happen. You ready don't need this feature anyway because you are acting so childish right now which so your true age that you don't need to be driving and watching tv anyways. Tell a diffrent mod what your plans were. Willing to bet that they would be like no anyways if youreally did contact one. No other sites will give out this info too. And you make yourself sound so stupied. Bypassing the dvd is bypassing a lock out feature

Personally, I think I'd like to hear more about the real issue and see fewer "fail" pictures.
I think that all states allow GPS units, either in the fascia or on the fascia, and sometimes even suction-stickered to the windscreen.
Some states are not going to allow an entertainment screen that is in the driver's view.

I could not agree more! I think you guys went off WAY to hard on this guy but this thread is retarded. All it is is a means to extended bitching about the way the MODS do there job. The OP CLEARLY broke the rules and should have just accepted it and moved on. Not sure why he got so upset but with all the previous posters antagonizing him I am not surprised.

i broke no rules of any nature... i asked a question thats all i did.. an it WASNT to watch movies i said for my PS3 which would be playing video games, so yeah ur right i definitely am smart enough to play ****** ps3 while drivin... get a life... its funny how when one person cries they have 10 people cry with them, and the other 9 have no clue what they're crying about.. its just cool now and days to tag along with others when talkin *** to someone...
