Anyone have any suggestions on sirens? I have a Python alarm by DEI. The siren is not loud enough for me. I want the whole neighborhood to hear it going off Nah just loud enough that if it goes off, it's gonna wake me from my drunk stoopers. lol

It's a 2nd siren for your alarm. It also contains it's own battery, so if someone cuts the power to you car the battery will still sound under it's own internal battery power.

Don't forget to put one inside the cabin. No one really pays attention to alarms anymore, but a theif will have to be pretty determined to work through one blasting in his ear.

Or get the custom siren, where you can record what you want. Put a girl having sex on it, I know that would deffiently catch my attention if I hear people having really loud sex outside.

The 515R IS another siren, but with the added bonus of a backup battery.

I fail to see how that is garbage.

yeah you need a one with a backup battey as of know all the thief has to do is pop your hood and disconnect the battery. If you have a backup battery he just need to find that or cut your siren wire. If you have a siren with a self contained backup battery it doesn't matter what wires you cut you have to physically smash the siren to get it to stop working or remove it from the vehicle which can be very hard if you mount it right.

If you want loud get a train horn off ebay for $175, program your alarm to sound the horn constantly when triggered and you will wake up much more than your own neighborhood

the DEI 513 T works wonders for being able to fit in the palm of your hand. Easy to hide anywhere and loud enough to make your ears hurt if within 3-5 ft. I am personally using one in my stealth alarm and i cant stand it when i set it of intentionally.
