I need help on where to find the factory alarm brain for 00' civic ex

I'm trying to match my alarm remote to the serial number on the alarm brain to make sure its the right one. Does anyone know where I can locate the factory Honda alarm brain? I look here and there but I don't see nothing. Similar post but no success...

Ditch it for an aftermarket one. I would suggest an AutoPage C3-RS915-LCD along with other accessories. I've installed one in a friend's EG hatch and it works perfect.

2nd.....personal opinion, not worth the time and effort. A decent aftermarket unit from Viper, Python, Avital, Clifford, Automate, Compustar, etc. can be had for the same price as trying to install an OEM unit, have farther remote range, and offer better vehicle coverage.

I mean, you can find the Avital 5303 which is a two way alarm, remote start, keyless entry online for about $120.
