You can get a reverse harness at Best Buy, and wire that in to replace the plug the bastard thieves cut off... Then, you can get a new harness and wire it up to the new deck, and plug it right in.

If you cant get a reverse harness, you can hardwire the plug to the new radio. Here are the colors.
Battery- white/blue
Acc- yellow/red
ground-black
ill-red/black
power ant-yellow green
left front+ blue/green
left front- grey/black
right front+ red/green
right front- brown/black
left rear+ blue/yellow
left rear- grey/white
right rear+ red/yellow
right rear- brown/white
hope this helps

as above.... i dont even leave my radio in the car. i take it out everytime i leave the car. like the old pullouts in the late 80's its just not a pull out. also remember that even if you have those face off players it only cost 20 bucks to get a replacement face plate...
sucks but glad thats all they took....

That the **** that pisses me off, one can go and get a replacement faceplate for so damn cheap like you said. Thieves still make out just by taking the unit without the faceplate.

pioneer wanted like 150-180 for just a new face when my face was stolen...it was cheaper for me to just go on ebay and buy the entire radio

Get yourself an eclipse deck. None removable face. once power is removed from the deck you have to insert the factory cd or else it won't work. read about it.

They also have a theft guarntee

An Eclipse deck in a Honda WILL get stolen, especially if you live in a big city. The antitheft gurantee is valid only for 1 year if installed by an eclipse dealer. If it does get stolen within the 1 year period, you need to fill out a police report and the only reason why you'd go though ESN is if it is a clean swipe with nothing else broken in the car. Otherwise you need to go through your insurance company. If they just take the radio, so through eclipse. If the amount of damage exceeds your deductible, go through your insurance company. Most people never code their CD players, from my experience.
Get a detachable faceplate, take it off BRING IT with you. Don't just leave it in the glovebox. or below the seat. That is the best deterent.

sorry i would have to disagree, taking your damn faceplate does nothing to stop a thief from taking your head unit.
isnt that the hole point in security, is to not leave tempting things within the car that a thief would want? you think the red "security" sticker on the headunit is going to scare them off?? so why leave a perfect headunit that cost from $200-400 dollars for them to try to get to work.. the thief has nothing to loose by taking it, they will take **** even when they know they cant get it to work...and sell it for pennies on the dollar even if it means for $5 bucks<< and thats good enough for most thiefs until the next easy scam. thats one meal in their stomache...does it suck yea, but how much do you want your **** stolen???

Ummm, yeah... so that is what I said it is the best "deterent". A detachable faceplate will not PREVENT your deck from getting stolen, it will reduce the chances. From my experience, (I do car audio for a living), 90% of the people who come into where I work to have a stolen radio replaced LEFT their detachable faceplate on their deck. 7% left it in their glovebox or under the seat.
