clifford gps has been moved
Dei has dropped the gps line. Thanks to ebay. IT will be back in the next year or two. Don't fret. Dei was selling the unit from mobileiq. So you can still have the same unit to purchase. Here is the info to it

Damn!! You weren't playin when you said they weren't gonna be selling the gps unit anymore. I remember you telling me of a couple other companies that were good. Would it be good for me to just buy the cliiford alarm and gps now before there aren't any available?

Re: clifford gps has been moved
Is something happening to the cliffordgps servers? I can't seem to log on. It keeps on saying incorrect username or password. This would be very inconvenient if the car was ever stolen.

What a runaround to get the unit activated. You have to call Airiq and have them switch it over, they'll send you an email. you do lose the lock feature and remote start, though.
Ill update this once I have done it all.

This is temp till they get there legal issues sorted out. Remote start and unlock will be features that will be brought back. Only the dei models have to be brought over. If its a straight mobile iq unit there is no delay on activation. The dei lines are still plug and play to dei alarms with a esp port and less wiring. THe mobile iq units have 3 extra wires to run.

Re: clifford gps has been moved
As of right now dei is not going to release any new gps for the next year or two. Unit there legal issues are sorted out or what ever business they have to take care of. I was told that they will have something soon to replace it. If so I hope they have all the bugs out of it before its released. Mobile iq units have proven to be solid units. No need to turn our backs on a proven unit just because it does not have a dei badge on it. I will support both companies. If the dei units comes out and it sucks. I will be the first to say it
