clifford car alarms, interchangeable? specifically Intelliguard 800IQ
are the brains for the clifford alarms, interchangeable. his car is wired up for an intelliguard 800IQ by clifford and the brain burnt up when he jump started his car one night, is there any other cliffords that are compatible? similar wiring, etc?

yeah, i don't know then. i've never had a problem with jumpstarting a car with an alarm. the brain literally, caught on fire or something, because there is a hole that was burnt through after jump starting and then it stopped working. the alarm was installed at a national car stero installer(car stereo city) so who knows if it was wired incorrectly, i mean everything worked fine up until that day. maybe just a faulty design

yow ... that sucks. Id didn't even think something like that would ever happen to a brain. Sounds like the brain was faulty to begin with, and the jumpstart just proved it well ...
