Default budget alarm

i need some advice. i'm looking to get an alarm but i'm on a very tight budget. i'm looking to spend around $100 more or less. can someone recommend one that would be in that price range that would still be a good alarm. does anyone have any experience with crime stoppers? thanks

Excalibur or K-9 same company. They are great alarms. They can be had on Ebay for a good price. You might have to install it yourself though. There's about 8 main wires to worry about. Once you know the wire colors and locations it wouldn't be that complicated. Of course I've done a couple of hundred myself most of which were K-9.

i dont think it would be worth spending so little on an alarm, i would just get like an autolock for the time being and save up for a better quality alarm.

The alarms all do the same basic function. I know the K9s last a long time doing it. Some of the more expensive ones have more features and such. I've seen many expensive alarms poorly installed. A good alarm can be bought for $50 or so but it's really all in the install. Good quality sensors can make a difference as well.

I have a brand new DEI Sidewnder 5000esp car alarm for sale. It's the samething as a Viper300 esp but just has a different name due to advertising. Alarm comes with a lot, dual stage adjustable shock sensor, starter kill, keyless entry, flashing light, and much more. It even has a lifetime warranty, *warranty card included*. It retails for $249 at places like Goodguys and other alarm/audio shop. Alarm is made by DEI, the #1 car alarm maker.

I can sell it to you for $80 shipped. Email me for pictures.
