Re: Blue Tooth (jmaz)
I was curious about purchasing the DEHP9800BT. My phone is has blue tooth, but I dont have a head set, and its a pain in the *** when I get calls while driving. Has anybody had any experience with this deck? Its a bit steep in price, but I guess its about the same as buying a deck and a bluetooth hookup...

The way I understand it, as soon as your deck comes it hooks up to the phone. When a call comes in it can be set to answer to how many rings and it will hang up automaticly. Also you will here it threw your car speakers.

Does it have to be built in?
You can get an entry level Alpine "CDA" unit, CDA-9883... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-9883 and add the Alpine Bluetooth adapter, KCE-300BT... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...tab=D .
You can do the same with most of the Alpine HUs, some use the KCA-100BT adapter... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...100BT 94
