Here you go.... http://www.compustar.com/security.htm use dealer finder, and although a Compustar only comes with a dual stage "impact" sen. there is a "port" so you can add a 2nd dual stage sen.

IMO Compustar makes the best 2way paging alarms on the market right now. 94

hey fcm, thanks for the link to compustars security systems. of the different systems on that site, which would you recommend? since you're an authorized dealer, could you give me a heads up on how much whichever system you recommend would cost me if i go to my closest dealer? i'm looking to just buy the system, since i have a technician that i trust to install it, so maybe you could sell me the system and I can have it installed here in Texas?

i just checked eBay, the Compustar 2WSS-A is going for $205 shipped, good deal? Also, where would be a good place to buy other sensors? What're good sensors to have along with the "dual-stage impact sensor" the system already comes with?

I would look at a dual stage proximity, [radar] sensor, DEI has one, like this http://cgi.ebay.com/PROXIMITY-...wItem

There are a few Canadians selling Canadian versions of the units on eBay, [more range then the US version] I would go with the 2W900FM-A, unless range is a big issue, the 2W900FM-A is a refined version of the 2WSS-A, and although it only has 1/2 the range of the 2WSS-A it has it's advantages and it comes with the second one way remote, [optional on the 2WSS-A] 94

i use DEI accesorys...on all alarms.....except the radar sensor...i use a radar sensor that i get from AAMP...a distrubiting company.....the DEI radar's...false trigger alot...and i think they are picky about the way you set em....the one's i use work great...no complaints on them in the past 2 years

i dunno like lojack

since AZ is so close to the boder...i have heard lojack only searches a 100miles radius from where the car is stolen from

i use the DEI fleet GPS...since i own a couple of cars.....
it sux because my Teg has a compustar...so it does not integrate

if you have a DEI alarm and GPS ...its like having onstar without the celluar features...

saved my *** 2 ....one night had the tahoe out and my drunk *** locked the keys in it....i called my 1800 # within 2 minutes i had it open....the operator was would you like me to start the car??.....fawkin pimp

I found at least 5 new ones on eBay along with more then a few of the newer 2W900FM-AS http://search.ebay.com/search/...soo=1 remember Compustar has no authorized on line sales of their product and will not honor any warranty... http://www.compustar.com/internet_sales.htm.
Feel free to IM me if you have any other questions. 94

sorry it took me so long to reply

DO NOT BUY COMPUSTAR ONLINE.....like FCM said they have no authorized dealers online..AT ALL....which mean..NO WARRENTY...

if you are set on compustar ...like FCM said...go to the find dealers section of their website...i'm sure you have a dealer local...you might pay more...but u will not have problems with the warrenty...some shops say they will void the warrenty if they don't install it....THAT'S BS.....call or write Compustar "first-tech" and tell them the authorized dealer you bought the alarm from will not honor the warrenty......"extended warrenty's offered by shops can cover shipping cost's...might be a good idea"

if you have no local dealers ....get ahold of me

peace

I will also recommend against the DEI motion sensor. If you want to stick with DEI, then their tilt and glass breakage sensors are top notch. The glass breakage sensor even comes with extra wiring to branch two sensors into one port, and then will register different zones. You're fine getting these off ebay. If you want a good motion sensor, get the Omega Au94T from Crutchfield.

And definately get a 520T battery backup module regardless of what alarm you get.

I can't fathom any benefit to having two 520Ts, and I have a pretty wild imagination mind you.

He went outside and didn't find anyone looked and looked. about 15min later a girl came inside and said her car was just broken into. i know that doesnt sto everyone but it sure is nice to here it once in a while. Let me understand this, his pager warned him late or he checked late?

Where I work we sell Code Alarms unfortunately. Cheap *** people buy them, we regretfully install them, and they all come back with problems. The Pythons/Vipers never come back with problems.

Code alarm sucks on everything they make.
