He does, that's why it was stolen and they got nothing but rims. I value my relationship with Jesus more than my car. Without Him, I wouldn't have it, if I value it more than Him, He'll take it from me. He's a jealous God.

true spoken word. I remember when i valued my boosted civic more than he. I would miss church for race events. well for some odd reason my motor blew twice within a 2 week period.

sounds kinda like a sleeping guard dog to me. if you asked your friend to watch your car and it got stolen i'm sure you'd be pretty pissed at him right?

I'm selling the Golden Gate Bridge if you're interested in purchasing it.

thinking your motor blew twice because you didnt go to church is a wonderful thought. unfortunately if you throw some logic and physics at the problem theres a root cause as to why it blew (which is not because god threw a temper tantrum)

u still don't understand and I don't expect you too! I'm not saying he put his magic finger on my motor and it popped. Sometimes something he allows to happen. Prior to that week I was urgent to go out of town and get my car tuned by another tuner. 1st I bent a lower control arm to keep me from going down. I was determined to get that fixed. then a few days later my axle popped on me. I was still determined to go down. then on the way to Houston I was stopped 3 times before making it down there not once did i get a ticket, just warnings. then got on the dyno and blew it up. Drove around Houston for a few more hours, and then I was rear ended. then I had to drive my rear ended blown boosted car home. This part is for believer's,(he allows things to happen, we don't know the reason but it usually works out for the best even though we don't understand at that point.) So in closing I don't believe in bad or good luck, everything has a purpose and it did. And I'm still paying the consequences now . I haven't criticized you about your non-belief so I ask you not to criticize mine. That's it for me on that subject if it's to be debated, I don't debated Christ the Book speaks for itself

I actually didnt start with the intention to get into a debate. i was mostly poking fun at the_general and the great deal of pro jesus advertisement contained in some of his posts and in his sig. I'm easily annoyed by people that push their beiefs on other people and who fail to keep something like religion as a private matter. when i see a lot of pro religion, i retaliate with a just as much anti-religion.

i will leave you with a couple of my favorite quotes.

I used to pray for a bike but then i realised god didn't work that way so i stole a bike and prayed for forgiveness.

The beauty of religious mania is that it has the power to explain everything. Once God (or Satan) is accepted as the first cause of everything which happens in the mortal world, nothing is left to chance...logic can be happily tossed out the window."

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

God in the world doesn't prove things to be A-B. take for instance his relating church to his motor blowing. obviously, there is no logic in that. what if he was not able to calm his mind and receive the patience he needed to accept a local shop's incompetence? what if he angered the tuner, thus causing him to reluctantly misdiagnose a problem? what if he was running lean that night and continued to drag, thus causing wear and tear? etc. etc.

God is logic. like he said, "He gives you the opportunity to except or not and you choose not to". He is waiting for you. take a second to look and you will see.

look at that dog on the floor. you can choose to kick it, or not. we were given a gift, we just don't use it.

ANYWAYS, was there a purpose to all this? perhaps if more of us put our love into Him rather than our hondas.. PEACE!

In the fight for the Kingdom of Heaven people like you are needed. It helps strengthen the faith of those who barely believe. If you've ever been in the position to die then you'll start screaming for God. At that weak moment in your life your body will only want to survive. Thus, you can't survive without God. You can deny him, cause even the evil where made for their day of judgement. He sees your heart and oddly enough, you started this conversation but you say you didn't want to debate. I was like that once, your spirit is reaching out but your mind won't let it. God's will is above your thinking. It's like a 6 year old trying to figure out why his parents work. If you spend enough time with them things will become more clear. If you spend time with God things will become more clear. As a person that doesn't believe you have nothing to lose. Matter of fact, if you don't believe in anything than this entire time you've been wasting your time. I don't believe in Santa Clause but I'm not going to argue or even talk to you about it? Why would I, I think you're just wasting your time. If religion is such a bad thing then why pay it any attention?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by EBP_SI &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">i will leave you with a couple of my favorite quotes.

You could do that if you want to you can do that. You reap what you sow and you always will. I have done bad things and when bad things happen, they're always the first thing to pop to my mind. All the wrong that I've done. God forgives if you confess it and believe it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by EBP_SI &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The beauty of religious mania is that it has the power to explain everything. Logically logic doesn't make any sense. Just like "The Big Bang" theory. It's a theory cause there's no way to prove it. Here's the concept, one day there was something in the middle of space and it exploded and made a universe. Well, who put that something there? Don't think yourself out of a blessing. If you don't believe any of it then you have nothing to lose. Pick up a Bible, read Proverbs, apply them, and watch your life change. Like I said, IF there is no God then what do you have to lose. If there is then your life can only get better. It's a win, win situation.

Life is bigger than you and me, it always has been.

i didn't read this whole topic but my 2cents.....

DEI product r the best....hands down...they have the lowest failure rate...best price...most flexiblity...etc

i use a compustar in my car thou....because of the manual setting

in AZ i have seen alot of problems with the Compustar...i don't recommend it for cars that sit in the sun.....my car is garaged...never left places...so it always works

the problem i have been seeing besides DOA compustars is that the antenna if it gets to hot it simply stops working until it has cooled down

example...you leave ur house...drive to the mall...arm ur car....shop....come back...nuthin...remote doesn't work...not even if its touching the antenna....now you have to set off ur alarm and go thru the key thing just to start ur ride....
nice **** huh.....a DEI product...i have yet to see anything like this

also i think "the best alarm" is what the persons needs are...

well AZ is hot as expletive.....ur talking temps inside the car 140 plus.....and thats just sitting for a hour or two

i've have even been told this by the biggest
CS dealer hear in the east valley

i didn't believe him....i found this out on my own vechile.....i just bought the integra...put in my alarm in my Garage....went to the DMV ...armed my car....got my tags....hour later...tried to disarm my car...nothin...

i tried swapping the alarm for different brains/ant/cables....mounting on different spots on the windshield.

you know what help alot..and almost fixed the problem

i mounted the ant. on the roof liner.....thinking the surface temp of that hot glass was too much

and wow..i could leave my car in the sun for 4-5hours now

drawback....decreases range...and looks ugly

i contacted my guy at the other shop that sells CS...he confirmed with me...and even told me that he mounts the ant. on the plastic panel on the A-pillar...after spending countless hours with CS tech support....he even told me that the owner and the rep talked alot about these problems now for about 2 years.....so CS knows of the problem and can only give a half *** fix for the problem....instead truley taking care of the DEALER AND CUSTOMER

and the "page sensor"

i guess is also because of the surface temp. of the glass.....that CS dealer say they never install that sensor because of so many problems...the customer has to ask to get it put in.....he says he even has customers come back to take it out

FYI....i'm not just some joe blow installer....i have been in Management/Sales/buyer/wholesaler for about 6 years now....not to mention the current company i work for has 3 stores within 2years.......

hands down nothing can really compete with DEI
it has its ups and downs...but really they're a great company for the DEALER and CONSUMER...

Well like I said it's news to me, we have 22 stores, I also am not a some "joe blow" installer, I have been installing for over 30 years the last 15 as a supervisor, it also gets very hot here, and in car temps of over 120 are not uncommon at all, I recorded 135 in my 94 LS, red w/ black interior last summer.

I am not saying you are wrong, only that it's news to me, and it has not happened here and not even mentioned as a possible problem by Compustar tech support.
as for customer service, Compustars IMO is the best, we are also authorized dealers for DEI, Audiovox, NUSTART and Scosch, the last two being Compustars with another name, Compustar is over the counter exchange, if we have a problem with a Compustar we replace it with store stock, and the defective unit/part is replaced by Compustar, the only exception is the remotes after the one year warranty we have to send them in, but so far all have been replace with new remotes, [internals], kind of hard to beat that kind of customer service, but then again maybe it's just because of a diff. in suppliers between Canada and the US 94

AH...ur from canada...

i hope ur not one of those NEWFEE's....lol

actually....what i was talking about as far as warrenty...all the alarm companies have great warrenties....but out of the box failure rate...DEI has the lowest...thats why i love selling/working with their products....i hardly have to use my warrenty

actually bro.....the guy who owns Chronic is from Canada...Calagry...and my GM Chris fraizer is from their as well.....i have to say...i have seen how u guys have to compete for sales up their....

i heard u guys take dirty G.P.
the owner of chronic is probably one of the best salesman i have ever met in my whole life

he could sell a eskimo a ice cube

i give canadians mad probs...u guys have a serious car audio scene

but seriously bro....Arizona...compared to canada's heat....no comparison.....but ur guys cold....we can't compete

we actually had DEI engineers fly to our shop to do heat testing on their "EXTREME" and "PPI" lines of amps...because we were getting somuch thermal shut down.

they swore it was a "installation error"

after a whole day of them installing the amps in different vehichils...they got the same results...

not even a month later...DEI sends us a new shippment of redesigned amps....

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW...thats dedication to the customer and dealers.....

What company do you work for?
i bet u might have worked with the owner or might have known him....his name is bren blanchette....or chris fraizer...they are both from up their

Okay, so I remember skimming through all the pages a while back, but I still dont know what kind of alarm to go with. Is anyone on here a retail seller of alarms? Where would I be able to buy a nice alarm for a decent price? I know I am definitely looking for multiple sensors and 2-way paging remote. Also, does anyone know of a site to listen to the sounds that the alarm makes when it engages/disengages?
