And anothor reason why lojack sucks! And your car never comes back
I'll let the pic speak for itself.
HE brings in his car and this is just chillen right there. Double sided tape and bunched under the center of the floor. You could not help but see it. Just plain lazy on lojack and there installer. Lojack sucks hands down if not installed right. 9 out of 10 the install sucks. If you have lojack let this be a warning.

I think the number one reason its sucks is because it requires the local police department have the equipment to locate the vehicle to begin with. Then it reuires some nuckle head behind the wheel know how to use it. I've seen Auto theft task force where they try to locate one of these cars with lojack. fricken ping that gets faster as you get closer. So many thing that can cause an issue with that in an urban environment. I would never purchase one of those.

yes, but if the install was better a theif would noit find it so quick and you would have a better chance of getting the car back. This was a **** poor job.

I have seen worse. I found not one but two lojacks on the bottom of the driverside dash and thats not the worst part of it. They both had a draw which killed the battery in 2 days of sitting. After seeing this I would never have a lojack installed in my car.

The on-site lojack installer thought under the rear seat of my Integra would be a good place to install it. Because, you know, thieves never remove the back seat (takes 30 seconds if you don't care about the plastic tabs) to check for a fuel pump kill (which did happen when my car was broken into, the thieves thought I had a kill switch when it was just the OEM immodilizer)...
I've relocated it since, but damn that was a poor place for the installer to mount it.
