Alpine tweeter mount in stock third gen integra location?
Alpine SPR-176A Component set
Ive done this install before, and this is what it ends up looking if you use the provided mounts given to you in the component set.
I want to try to keep the stock tweeter screen, basically the stock look. I want to try to not hack up the tweeter itself.
The problem comes in when the stock tweeter is about the size of a quater and the Alpine tweeter is about the size of a silver dollar.
If anyone has done this, let me know how.
Thanks

i think u can just file down the inside of the stock tweeter grill to make room. I'm pretty sure thats what a friend of mine did with his mb quart tweeters...he has the stock grills still, so it must be possible. hope that helps

I just took the liberty of hacking my tweeter instead of the stock honda parts
I was, uhhh, aiming for, umm....for the ultimate in weight reduction

Re: Alpine tweeter mount in stock third gen integra location? (Medek)
My alpines came in a special mount, the part that the tweeter is connected to has ridges in a circle, around this from the back side a locking ring snaps on to it from the back side and holds it in place...
