Alarm not working right.
This problem most likely started when I left my lights on and my battery died. When the alarm is on, and I open my door the alarm doesn't go off... I even tried holding down the switch thing on the door jam, and then turn the alarm on and let the switch go, still no alarm. any suggestions on where I should look first?

It works magically now...Im assuming the dome light is the light thats in the middle of the roof, its in the middle. I tried opening the door with it off and the alarm still works.
I have a Hornet alarm, I don't know anymore than that. The siren makes 1 beep when its being turned on and 2 beeps when its being turned off.
To activate the Valet Mode do the following:
There is a push button or toggle switch to disable the alarm (to engage the valet mode). Without knowing where this
switch is you won't be able to disconnect the alarm.
1. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position.
2. Flip the toggle or hold the push button for at least 5 seconds.
3. The LED. light will stay solid on.
4. Turn the ignition off
5. Release the push button. If you have a toggle leave it alone in step 2
To de-activate the Valet Mode do the following:
There is a push button or toggle switch to enable the alarm (to disengage the valet mode). Without knowing where this switch is you won't be able to reconnect the alarm.
1. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position.
2. Flip the toggle or hold the push button for at least 1 seconds no more than 2 seconds on most DEI products,
keep it pressed in.
3. Turn the ignition off.
4. The LED. light will be off.
5. Release the push button. If you have a toggle leave it alone as described in step 2.
are they talking about the lock and unlock switch on my remote?
