Good Afternoon everyone

I've got a 2000 Accord V6 4DR and it comes as standard with a Double DIN single CD/FM/AM radio, which changer capability.

I have a few questions about this unit.

Firstly, if I disconnect the power, I assume I'm going to be asked for the radio code, which I don't have as my g/f purchased this car used. I assume I can go to any Honda dealer and ask them to supply the code?

Secondly, how does one actually remove this unit from the car? It looks as though there are two philips headed screws underneath the facia that surrounds the stereo and the AC controls, one assumes I unscrew and pull this off, then allowing me access to the head unit and the ability to pull it out. It does not look like it has any other securing method, and I cannot see any way to insert any tools to pull it out.

Why all the questions? Well, I have an iPod and have been using an iTrip (FM transmitter unit for iPod) and it's pretty good, but not the best quality in the world. I want to see what connections the standard head unit has, to see if I can connect the iPod to it.
I know it has changer controls, so it might be possible to do something with that (maybe a denison ICELink or some such device).

I was hoping it might have an AUX out port, but alas I do not think it does, if it did, wham, twin RCA to 3.5mm jack and problem sorted, but aslas not

Anyway, can anyone help me out?

1. Just get he serial or VIn goto Dealer and they'll supply
2. Pop out the clock and undo pllugs, unscrew two screws from bottom and pop out the faschia. Undo harness from climate control and then remove the screws from the mounting brackets

what happens if you try to install an aftermarket head unit? do you still need the code or does it not matter?
