Re: (Chef Andre)
naw im good i'll rock the original color. if custom then i still need to do all the door jambs and under the hood which would mean pulling the motor and everything. i like the stock carbon gray anyways. no one In amarillo texas has a carbon gray tsx. theres prolly only a few tsx's in this town in the first place.

i'll prolly spray most of the inside of the rear clip but usually i dont cause its all covered any ways. or i'll just spray a gray sealer inside and spray color on all the visible parts.

Ah this great!
Back when I was in High School the girl I was dating my senior year her dad did the same thing. He had 2 Cadies and a SUV all of which he bought 2 wrecked cars and welded them together as his daily drivers. Him and her uncle did this for other people as side work. They would flip cars for nothing and sale them for twice what they put into it, just amazing.

To the OP your skills are without a doubt unquestionable and I give you props all round for the great work and craftsmanship in restoring that poor car.

Re: (sac ped)
wow that's freakin' crazy!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm honestly amazed at how it's coming back to life.
i have a question though, i read that you undid the spot welds that held the rear section together and welded in the new one. is that how new cars are built? like the rear-end is bolted in like that? even the rear c pillar?

Re: (drift_n_shift)
no its not bolted together its welded your prolly just seeing sum bolts we put to hold the clip and floor together before welding. its all welded up now and those bolts arent there now. Ive started the body work so i should have pix tomorrow. I seen that 350z and was like dam thats what gives the body business its bad wrap.
