TW FA5 with a few plans
I got back from Japan not long ago. Still waiting on my shipment of wheels/JDM spoiler/tails to come in.
I'm actually thinking about NOT doing any JDM conversion and selling the spoiler/tails. But I'll be keeping the rims to switch out with...might sell the Works though.
I'm on Buddy Club N+. Also have Hondata Flashpro, and still stage 2 short shifter from TWM.
Got this while in Japan...I can't remember what it says in english, but it's basically a joke towards the emission sticker it replicates...something about beer, lol

I got this while at a shrine in Japan...for good luck/protection while driving
Wheels I'm still waiting on to arrive with my shipment from Japan
Enkei RPF1 Type RC 18x8 +30
FD2 Wheels
Work Equips 17x7 +35

Re: TW FA5 with a few plans
Thanks guys...I definitely plan to keep it clean. I'm still wondering if I should bother with the JDM wing and tails I have...I'd have to get the trunk...but sometimes I think it's good as is
Still waiting for my friend to send me the last piece, lol

Re: TW FA5 with a few plans
lol, thanks man, love it to. I just installed my TWM stage 2 shifter...pretty nice!
I raised the shift **** back up...in the pics it is at it's lowest setting
Tearing it apart
Clips to remove..TWM doesn't miss a thing in their install directions
Easily comes off
I wish I had thought of using vice grips to do this back in 07 when I had my previous FA5 with that neuspeed short shifter. It takes all of 2 secs to take them off doing it this way.
Goodbye time!
Comparo
I was so excited to put it on, I pushed the install directions to the side...don't do that, lol...I almost forgot to switch out the spring that TWM tells you to swap out
Installed
Done...soooo damn short, lol

Thanks man, that's funny, I used to own a 97 EX Coupe...first Honda I bought. Only mine was not as nicely done as yours...I was a newb and went through the loops to learn my way, lol
By the way, I'll be there in D.C. in about 6 months...will be living there for about 3 years I assume.

D.C. area is cool other than the traffic and the terrible roads, but there's a lot to do and a nice car scene.

Re: TW FA5 with a few plans
Yeah my first car was a 97 lx sedan, but I always wanted a white coupe, so after my FA5 was totaled I found one and have had it for two years now. Id like to get another FA5 for a daily whenever I can afford it next though.

Re: TW FA5 with a few plans
be carefull on the 2nd an 3rd gear shift linkage, they tend to be bad on the 8th gens that the only down fall.. but really clean man love it what parts you looking at getting? an really good choice on the four door because as you might know coming back from japan. this year over there is there 2003 or 2004 an they didnt make coupes in japan of this year only four door. look at the type r four door, mugen rr four door, so let me say once again smart choice an the proved that the coupe is actually almost a half a second slower on a track not sure about the drag...
