Re: .::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
In most cases with vehicles the owner feels obligated to switch things up year by year. i didn’t necessarily have that sense of obligation but like always i had a tendency to make grandiose "come ups". Or as me and my close friends would call it... "Nĩgga come ups!" (BTW We're gonna get that copy written so don’t even think about stealin' my **** son :shifty )
but yeah so... As i rocked my gold wheels i started to fall in love with European styling and ****. I now wanted to build a Euro-Sol. I really wanted an MK2 Golf but i don’t have patience for check engine lights and learning a whole new platform. So i figured I’d make do with the Honda i had.
Before i settled on my last set of wheels i decided to give the low offset thing a try when it was at its pinnacle in the Honda world... so then it looked like this
15x8 +0 Sportmax joints son!

Re: .::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
I actually got them because i needed a wheel i could use for when i changed my suspension to 4x114.3 to accomodate some MORE wheels i had around that time as well. Well that and to test the limits of the del sol as far as fitment is concerned. They weren't on the car for too too long before i sold them. but i only sold them because i needed more money to fund some more items that you'll see shortly. :eyebrows

Re: .::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
well yeah... as i said after the gold Drags i purchased some more wheels BEFORE the Sportmax's. they were 4x114.3 so i got a suspension that would accomodate them...
1996 Spec Integra Type R 4x114.3 conversion with Project Mu rotors and pads...
oh yeah this was the wheel
i needed to refinish them so i did.

as if Billy!
this is what the car looked like on the RS' in late 07/early 08
ahhhh i just noticed something. the picture of them refinished was actually taken AFTER these pics i just put up. because i got new tires and all that jazz once they were finished. any who i put up what it looked like on the RS' before center caps for a reason. i actually went to BBS to get my replacement parts. i took pictures of that trip but its absolutely pointless to post them here.

Re: .::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
Ohhhhh i took pictures like crazy!
so...
in this installment you'll see that i get bored pretty ****in fast. pretty ****in fast. pretty ****in fast I bought my Lexus in 2008 to occupy my time and serve as a daily driver and in turn i got tired of the Honda so what i do? i took the hood off and road like this for a couple months. I couldnt take my clothes off and drive naked so i took something off the car instead.
ohhhh and then... while i ran around town hoodless with *****s lookin at me crazy like im the cause of the recession i was getting this done by a friend of mine...
here it was on the car! :D
edit: Ohhhhhh sniggity snaps! i forgot to mention... aroud tax return 08 i got umm... Nardi Steering Wheel w/ Quick Release,
i got a new lip,
aaaaaaaaaaaand... ****... what else i do?
Ohhhh yeah!!! i redid my headliner!
So... i went to Nashville in 2008 for the annual Import Alliance meet and had a blast. it was the last blast me and the car had in Nashvegas. due to the fact that i drove my Lexus in 2009.
WARNING: lot of content and changes in this post...
so yeah as i said i went to Import Alliance 2008...
Me riding in
Me parked
i was dubbed the lowest del sol in America for a while. i was very proud of that title. it made me feel like i accomplished something. lol! :D
the weekend was awesome. some of the most epic shots were taken around that time. like this shoot that my friend Robert did for me...
aaaaaand on the way from back TN me and my friend Khris H. took what is probably one of the most memorable/epic/quoted/reposted couple shots of my car ive ever seen.
After this phase i stopped at a Quickie Mart along the long road i traveled and got me a coffee and a nut covered donut.
then i pressed on...
so yeah uhh... if you noticed my hood had a rough raw rugged feel to it and i decided i wanted some luster so i got it cleared. the paint didnt react to well to the clear so it left a few bubbles but hey it was wet and thats what i wanted.
BUT! that wasn't enough to keep my attention. at the time i started getting deep into my Lexus and i started to put the Honda on hold but i wanted to change **** up and ****...
so i got a new hood and wheels which i eventually sold to get wheels for my Lexus.
and here are the wheels that i sold...
Riken Mesh
shortly after all this **** i got depressed and thought about selling the Honda due to the fact that i just wasnt motivated and i was getting ****ed on a couple deals with the Lexus. like i said the wheels were long gone to purchase wheels for the Lexus. i never completed polishing my hood and ended up just leaving it as is. until a friend offered to paint it pink for me. i said SURE! if its free why not right? RIGHT!

Re: .::The Timeline & Rebuild of DO™s Del Sol::.
the story continues but... like any and every other good story there's a twist.
So here goes....
where was i??
Ah! my semi polished hood that was gonna get painted pink! :alright
so yeah... i put on my hood so i could stunt hard when i went to the release of Fast and Furious right? RIGHT! So yeah i put it on and went to the premier but it wasn't hard as i thought and i actually ended up flacid at the thought. So then i figured id paint it pink fo sho. Soo... that weekend after the premier i decided to go to my homeboys house to get er done.
here were the pics of that stop...
noooow... the car was pretty dirty and jacked up that day but i didnt think anything of it. i should have took it as a sign but i didnt think anything of it. i shouldnt have went down there but i didnt think anything of it. I should have thought something of it but i didnt think anything of it...:shifty
so yeah.....
when we left off i dropped my hood off to get painted right? RIGHT!
this was taken on m way back from that trip...
