Re: rwd eg13
updates
started on the rearend, we got all the front end together so we could see how every thing lined up and the ground clearance .
bang on.
back on the lift to start on the rear end
sneaky look at how every thing looks under the car, still needs welding but i need to stick it on the rotisery to do that
think i need some spacers , the eg rear end is wider than the s13
started making the mounting point for the rearend

Holy sacrilege... I LOVE IT!
Props on taking on the project. Funny that everybody here is supportive, but if you were to put this on a Nissan forum, oh man..
Keep up the good work, can't wait to see the finished product!

Re: rwd eg13
I do have a couple questions, though.
1. By removing the "beams" that normally run along the exhaust tunnel in the Civic, did you lose any rigidity in the chassis?
2. Why not run a wider wheel in the rear, since you've got the added space? Spacers aren't necessary then.

Re: rwd eg13
thanks for the replys and the question.
the center chassis will be put back in but i need to put the car on a rotisery that a friend is letting me use when i need it.
i could run wide wheels but ive not realy thought about that yet

But Matt's right, it's harder to hate something when it's being done the right way.
Keep the updates comin!

Re: rwd eg13
lol naa i just like cutting things up
i had to cut the strut tops as the s13 rear suspension pits inward and the eg does not i also had to chop the fork part off the eg suspension and weld the s13 eyelet on to make the suspension work as it should
