I want to know if you have parts in that bondo 1/4'd 1990 crx dx auto? I am interested in their fender flares and skirts. Can you tell me please? Thanks in advance.

Re: PBK's batman crx b17a1 tuck super herooo'd
here are those hoods to hold u over untill i take pics of the crx ,which i worked on last night a lil bit
cleared
one coat (dont worry the orange peel look is normal for the first shot of clear
and here is the finished product, not perfect, but thats not what the dude wanted.i removed the major dents, left the hail damage and little waves, but at least it deoesnt have huge creases in it now haha
the little hood was warped from age and was all smashed in the front ,which i had to rebuild, turned out decent but i should have just went all the way with it and made it very pretty.i cant stand leaving anything when it comes to bodywork ,since it looks unfinished, but whatever ,i only do what the customer wants and really have no control over that.(shrugs)not bad that they got third place at the fair old school john deere tractor show ...and thats because dude left the rest of the tractors old and faded ...they would have won for sure if i did the whole tractor
lol so country

Re: PBK's batman crx b17a1 tuck super herooo'd
alright here is todays work so far
flat sheet ,lets do the ghetto way shall we :-)b
and with the curve i need
trimming
sneak peak
more
this is the hardest part of skinning in my eyes. the bottom of honda doors is weak and allways likes to bend or is rusted .so this is how i do it. i take alot of locking plyers and secure that sucker how i want it
and then i used lineman plyers to get the bend going and then use hammer and dolley
i even tack it in place in a few spots where i think it may bend or cave in some .i ran into an issue in the middle where it did in fact cave in on me and caused the skin to be wavey.Ive worked it out some but will have to finish it tomorow
you can see the wave in this pic at the bottom of the door.not much of a problem, but will take about an hour to bring back with the hammer....i think i should invest in a 36 inch break :-)b
more to come tomorow yo

Nice to see some new updates. The batman crx is taking on some character. What was that in the sneak peak? Was that a tube bumper, if so are you gonna put like some crazy spikes on it? That would be cool. I hope your having as much fun building this car as I am watching. Keep up the good work.

Re: PBK's batman crx b17a1 tuck super herooo'd
nah this one
pretty much the car will be a GSR swapped satin black crx with flares ,tuck, push bar,low offset rims, batman colors and symbols here and there (shrugs) not actually trying to make the batmobile haha ...i think that would look silly
did a bit more ,finished welding up the seam, took it down and then some kitty hair
take it down tomorow and see where im at with it i guess

your build is defentivly one of the most interesting of the honda-tech forum. you don't just buy all the high prices parts, you create something. that why i like it. keep it up.
