I bought this 94 Eh hatch from the original owner for $350.00. it had 218'000 miles on the original D15 and smoked like a train. it was aztec green, typical rust on the quarters and all four corners were dented.
i started by replacing the tailights bumpers and quarter panels from a hatch i found at a junkyard. I also bought some vision corners and JDM foglights.

after the engine finally gave out I bought a 93 hatch on Ebay. It had a JDM B16A with LSD and lots of extras.

the car finally arrived and after some looking around, I found that the body was rusted to the point of no return. so i swapped everything into the hatch i already had.

flex-a-lite slim fan

I also polished the valve cover.

I got a ITR valve cover on Ebay.

My attempt at low offset wheels.


Didnt like the look, even after installing the blox rear camber kit and the adjustable upper A arms.

ditched the Sportmaxs' bolted on a set EP wheels with skunk2 studs and lug nuts.

driving down the road one day and couldn't shift into second. throw out bearing gave out.
ordered a F1 lightweight flywheel and exedy clutch.



ordered some more stuff.

I drove 5 hrs to Denver and picked up a set of Password JDM front and rear bars for a good price.

found a lightweight Braille battery. so i made a battery tray and installed it under the right front bumper.



Installed

a set of doorpockets installed in the doorpanels and EK tweeters.


I came home with a six pack of beer one day and went crazy!!!!!!!

shaved the rad support. painted it milano red too


Why stop there?
shaved the engine bay.

how about a wire tuck and prop valve relocated too.

relocated the fuel filter.

finished with a benen rad. stay.

I didn't like the way the lines came out so i decided to redo them all.
ordered some AN fittings and 3/16" hard line.

I decided to paint the whole car!!!!
I don't have a paint booth or a garage so i had to wait for good weather to paint it.





i bought a vision catch can and decided to run some breather lines. so i ordered some AN fittings and did a custom valve cover.

when i first started a while back i didn't know much about it. but i got tired of being screwed by shady mechanics and people that couldn't keep their word. so i started doing all the work myself. If anything went wrong, all i had was myself to blame. Plus i could take my time and do it right. i guess if i had any tips, choose a cheap car that you can work on that isn't a daily driver. just to practice your skills on. get some model specific automotive manuals. and just go for it, all you need to do is practice.

i also decided to redo the engine harness, i went to Harbor freight and picked up a bunch of heat shrink tubing.

I used a donor harness to keep all the color coding intact.
