"Feleray Drempt" memorial build/restoration
So to start this off my name is Julian and just recently got stationed in Hurlburt Field, FL. Ive had my hatch for about 3 years now and 2 years of having it its probably sat in my garage. I purchased it from a old couple for about $2,500 and it was "MINT" pics.............
***Im going to be skipping alot so I can get to the build but if you want to see the process of what went on between getting the car and the current surgery its under going let me know.
After about a year I replaced it with a complete OEM built D16z6 along with some bolt-ons.
The motor was babied as it was my DD to school and work but I wanted more so I did a B18c GsR swap I got from a good friend.
This is also how the car sat just before going under the knife except...
New Fenders
New Hood
All trim pieces painted with OEM black trim paint
(I have pics of the process just let me know if interested in seeing)
Ok now for the build process....
Out with the old
My buddy Allen got a new camera and went picture crazy!
Shes OUT!
Just waiting for the new heart
Now for the build NA Lsv
Start off with the head
*Machine work credit goes to USA machine.
Valve cover eye candy once the head is assembled
*Airbrush credit goes to Orlando Di
All put together
Now the block
*Was told it was a 84mm bore ended getting pistons at 84mm only to find out it was actually a 85mm bore so having to see if Realstreetperformance will switch them out for me for a set of 85mm.
**Once again went with USA machine to get block decked, honed, hot tanked, crank micro polished and balanced just waiting to get it back.
Block goodies
S80 LSD transmission
Need to order
Ill update when possible.....
