Re: my 92 Si RHD project
here are some progress pictures. my ultimate goal is to have a badd *** head turning summertime only dailt driver LOL. estimated completion date is set for may 24 2010 my birth day present to myself. i manage a body shop so i have all the resorces, now i just need the funds haha
started with a few OEM goodies from honda to pretty much complete the engine bay, over flow tank and bracket, prop rod clip, and radiator bushing
close up of the hardware i used to mount the overflow, yes all engine bay hardware will be matched stainless washers and allen headed bolts EVERYWHERE
passenger side 1/4 had some door dings and minor rust that i cut out patched with metal and door skin glue then applied filler to make smooth
once i was happy with it i applied 3 coats of BASF primer 10 minutes flash time between coats

Re: my 92 Si RHD project
then i tackled the tailgate which had some dings and i wanted to fill in the -H- logo
there was some surface rust/crap build up where the gate mount to the hinges so i used this handy dandy combo to clean all off!!!
BEFORE:
AFTER:
the gate is finished just waiting for primer.

Nice dude, I love the fact its a eg and rhd!
I also filled my H logo on the tailgate. But I wish I didn't now because it looks too plain.

Re: my 92 Si RHD project
okay heres a mini update i did as much of the 1/4 panel finishing as i could. so now my handy dandy body guy armando will be taking over! so i decided to strip the rear part of the hatch, gave the interior harness a diet by removing un needed wireing, dropped the headliner and removed the sunroof assembly to start repairing the roof. im sorta wanting to do a carbon roof cap but i am very iffy due to the face i really want to daily drive the car.
the 1/4 before armando does his magic:
sunroof frame in storage:
seats and some of the rear interior trim:
dirty vinyl headliner, i plan to wrap it and the door panels once i get to re assemble the stage:
removed the rear defroster wiring and third brake light wiring since i wont be needing them, also took off a few metal bolt on brackets:
