Ok guys i recently purchase a 1992 Acura Integra GS-R and I have a few things i want to do with it over time. Im 23 years old, married, got two children (2 yr old boy and 10 month old girl), so not sure if this will acutally become a true "build thread" and if it does it most likely will be slow in progression. Anyways as of now the car has a obd1 b18c1 engine, original cable tranny, and chipped ecu (vtec at 4500), however im looking to do a h2b swap in the future along with tucking and shaving the bay. ill try to document as much as i can with pictures. Also any imput/critisism is welcomed.

mods/enhancements ive already done
new windo tint
new intake/filter
lowered with skunk2 coilovers

Mods/Enhancements to come soon:
Clean up headlights
smoke the tailights
fix the one bad spot on the dash
replace mugen vc with stock gsr
replace cam seals and vtec solonoid gasket
fix the idle surge (iacv or fitv)
fix the cruise control

mods/enhancements to come(maybe)
sell b18c1 longblock
h2b swap
shave and tuck engine bay w/fresh championship white paint
some minor body work, one issue with rust, and then fresh championship white paint to match the bay.

nice db2, did you swap someone for 90-91 tails? I don't know if I like it wingless, I like my 3rd brake light!

idk i bought it with the tail lights and without the wing. i was thinking of maybe replacing the wing with a type r or similar one.

why do you say its a da9? title says db2.
also btw the tint has been replaced, just didn't get any recent pics uploaded yet.

Looks like somethings been done to the VIN on the firewall. On the 10th pic down you can see it.

Otherwise, clean cah.

its a gs-r, its missing a couple things but look at the back window, no third brake light, little things like vtec moldings, 8k redline.

man good luck and nice fin i just bought one too but mine still got the original b17 in it (insert chezzy smile here) lmao and im doing the almost the same stuf.. i got a white DB2 there such beautyful cars!!!! im definatly going to keep up with this thread!! good luck and if u want to get rid of the valve cover let me know im looking for one and if u want i got an original black valve cover for a b17 il post pics in a lil while!!!

i think it would look better with the tint off. I liked my Db1 without the tint WAY BETTER.

i plan on tucking and shaving my bay as well if i ever get to the h2b swap. how do you plan on shaving your bay? welding? also are you getting rid of the abs system? Are you going to document the tuck and shave of the bay? that would be awesome if you did.

i started allredy i can probly write it down though!! and yeah im getting rid of the abs im tucking the brake lines too i got a 40/40 valve for that and im most likely going to spotweld the holes that i dont want and then grind it down than paint it i just finished the passanger side tuck and now im moving on to th driver side il try to put pics up soon but my camera is messed up

thats cool. as far as the brake lines go are you running new hardlines or are you using braided lines? what are you painting the bay with? did you tuck the wire inside the fenders? are you keeping the windshield wiper motor? you should do a build thread too, it would be cool since are cars are pretty much the same platform.

texascrx your rite i should write up a build threadbut im not to shure cuz theres allot of crooks out by me and i rely dont want ppl knowing what im doing and going to do but im definatly keeping log on my computer of it all mabe when i finish il post it >>>> but yeah im going to run new hardlines im going to run the lines on the firewall but rely low allong it and creep it backbup to where it needs to go how was your tuck run??
