Default ...MY 1990 CIVIC SI PROJECT THREAD...

...I BOUGHT THIS 1990 CIVIC SI FOR $1600.....
.....so i got this car just like u see in the first couple pics.....runs great!!...this is my first hatchback...looking to convert to an si-r.....want to put a b16 in it.....it has a clean *** interior...came with coilovers an intake exhaust, some suspension mods,rear upper and lower sway bar...gauges...and other goodies....well thanks guys and gals i will be updating pretty soon when i do the engine swap.....comments are greatly appreciated........

....latest update rest in peace to the zc engine i had in my car...driving down the freeway and engine started knocking pretty loud...something like the rods or something....so time for the swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!b16 coming soon updates coming soon.....

....new update got a b16 complete long block for $450 sweet!!!!!...and a b16 tranny with lsd for $500 and the axles shift linkage and mounts for $ 150 and the rest of the crap...so the engine will be going in soon this week will post up pics later today...

Did any of the SI's ever come with power windows? I thought the SI was the top of the line hatch, and just assumed that they came with power windows/locks and such like the EX 4-doors. I am fairly new to honda's, but really want a hatch with some power options to replace my 4-door EX.

none of the 88-91 si's came with power windows only the sunroof is power.

No Civic hatchback sold in North America had power windows except the 2002-05 Civic Si.

As mentioned above, only the moonroof is powered.

Not true. In Canada some of the 4G SE hatches have power windows. Very rare to see though.

no their the stock moldings i just went to pep boys and bought the red pinstripe. it works great and it hasn't come off yet!

i really like the cluster and gauge.
im looking to do the same thing acaully.. i just dont know what colour scheme to do as my car is red but i like blue lights better
