Finally decided to make one of these threads in an effort to start documenting the stages that my car keeps going through.

Bare with me on uploading pics and updating information. Sorry in advance for any poor pics. I don't have my own cameras yet. Just an iPhone.

Engine - 94 JDM B18C
ECU- Chipped P28
BPI Velocity Stack w/ K&N Filter
Skunk2 70mm Alpha series TB
Skunk2 Pro Series Intake Manifold
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
Hytec Replica Headers "Tri Y's"
Custom Straight Pipe
Vibrant Muffler

Tranny - 94 JDM B18C
OEM 5Spd W/ LSD
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
Exedy Pressure Plate
Fidanza 7.5lb flywheel

I've been coming up with build concepts for awhile and before I really didn't want to go too crazy in an effort to keep the car reliable. A new contract into the reserves and a second career as a Union Carpenter later, I changed my mind and decided that if I was going to keep this car, I was going to go all out.

***8/3/13***
Right now the car is under the knife. I originally intended to get a front clip along with the whole 9 off an EG6 and have the car painted either Frost or Championship White. Iv always had some love for BMW and aside from admiring their lines, iv always payed just as much attention to the colors in the paint.

I'm having all emblems shaved off, every exterior panel replaced with Honda Dealer OEM and I decided that the color will officially be Alpine White III, paint code 300. A great example of the color is off a 2012 M3.

When paint is done, im going to pull the motor and rebuild. The goal is to overbuild to reliably run a GT3582R with extra room to grow in the future. While the motor is out, shave the bay, paint, and then do a full wire tuck before I drop it back in.

More pics of what's laying around for when she comes out of paint

I cleaned up my OGs but at this point I'm not even sure if I want to put these back on. Might go a different route.

Suspension is almost done. I still wanted to order a set of AMR coilovers and possibly go back to stock rear camber arms.

Couple more things

EG6 front and rear lights.

I wish I could do everything myself but I really want body and paint FLAWLESS. I don't have enough experience to have the ***** to do it. The painter in that last pic has been painting cars in his country since he was 13 and iv seen a lot of his work done on some high end show cars so I'd rather leave it to a pro.

Just a quick update. Iv had alot going on between my dad having a stroke, the military and my job. I put ordering the rest of the parts and the paint on hold. Things are starting to level out so I'm beginning to get back on track again. Last night I started moving tools and parts into my new garage. I'm going to order the parts, paint, and finish the car in about 2-3 weeks time.

I appreciate it, thanks. I changed my mind yesterday and decided to get this car sprayed already. I feel like with that done i can get the ball rolling and focus on something else. Orders on parts and paint have started as of today. I should have progress with pics included by next week.

Paint and the majority of the parts are in. The local Honda dealer still has acouple more things to deliver and then we should be able to finish up...

Work has started. We test fitted the majority of the front end on friday and I wasn't happy with several things. One of which was a considerable gap between the front bumper and the hood. I decided to order some more parts including a brand new radiator support and a hood latch from Honda. They'll be delivered Monday morning and then we'll be chopping off the radiator support to start from scratch after we weld on the new one. Iv been taking pics along the way, just have to upload them when I get a chance.

On another note, while draining the radiator coolant I believe I found what looks to be like traces of oil in the coolant reservoir??? This is odd though, because for 1, the exhaust doesn't smoke at all, not even while on WOT. No startup problems, sounds and runs very healthy since the first day iv had it. I'm wondering if maybe somehow what I found is related to stop leak iv poured into the system due to a radiator leak that had seemed to get worse and worse. Not too sure right now.

Theres alot of room for improvement but little by little i feel like the car is on its way.

We decided that since ill be buying a replacement anyway, we're going to paint it and see how it looks.

Pulling the front and rear side windows to fix all this. After all the moldings are removed id say its safe to say theyll be dry rotted so we'll be replacing them all brand new.

Driver side visor is shot. Eventually I'll order a pair of EG6s

Right!? Gap Looks like poop lol. Thank you. I was thinking about re clearing but decided to spray it along with the car to see how it turns out. I wanted to buy a new one so instead of throwing it away ill use it during paint.

Dad seems to being doing much better compared to before so my minds getting back where it needs to be as far as this hooptie goes.

Got an update that they fixed the gap at the shop. Going to stop by and take a look at it after work. I'm leaning toward swapping out the radiator support anyway. Feel like not only will it look better but it'll be alot easier to work with as far as getting work done on the engine bay when the time comes.

New radiator support is on. The emblem holes on the hood have been fiberglassed.

Car has been painted. Been having a bit of issues with the shop owner due to me finding imperfections and asking him to address them. He's refusing and just brushing me off. At this point I'm just going to take the car back and finish it myself. Car was sprayed and clear coated. I'm going to let the paint cure for awhile till it starts to warm up over here and then ill wet sand and polish. In the mean time ill start focusing on other things like motor, interior and finishing my suspension. I'm tempted on going with a bigger brake setup. We'll see what happens. I think it's best for me to just get my car back and move on to better things. Getting into bs over a shop wanting to half *** the end of a job isn't even worth it.
