Little update Nwp is gone so this is the only thread for the car now hah.

Recent news is that im honoured that the car was listed in the Top 10 Hondas in 2012 on the Chronicles. Ive been following the site for a while now and it actually inspired the creation of the downshiftaus.com blog. It was a real shock to be named among builds of that calibre! Thanks to Joey for the kind words and summary

Congrats, Alex! I was suprised to see the car in the list. Not because it isn't worthy, but because it dosen't fit the "cookie-cutter-best-of" mold, but I know Joey recognizes a good thing when he see's it. The car has def. been an inspiration for me!

They're on the car now as of last week. Nearly everything in the brake setup is new and some fresh Bridgestone's. A gentleman is coming tomorrow afternoon to roll the rear quarters and hopefully I can lower this thing back down. It's almost 4x4 right now to avoid rubbing. 7" wide and +25 pokes quite a bit more than I anticipated (plus 5mm more from the 4x114 setup I suppose).

Awesome. Yea +25 with a full tire can be tricky on the rear of a 114 car. Rolling the fenders gives you heaps more room and trimming the rear bar near the mounting point will help too. You should be able to do it on OEM camber arms, if not you shouldn't need too much extra negative camber from an adjustable item. Looking forward to it!

Took the car for a drive yesterday, lol at parking in the same spot as last month haha!

First time its been driven since last month, its just too friggin hot here at the moment. Constant 35*C (95*F?) days. Cant wait till it cools off



My friend dave's bay in the green EK sedan next to me, this thing has really been a labour of love over the past couple of years, really awesome to see it nearing completion!



And I sold the enkei's off the ascot so its back on CD stockies for now

Yep all dry. Lost power sun night and the garden was pretty fucked up mon morning but not too bad. Hopefully not too many more homes get flooded today!
