GO-AUTOWORKS Project EH2 ReBuild...Rotrex B Series...save a heap
Hello hello, just thought I'd come back to the forums and kick it off with a build thread of a project weve had here for a little over a year now. I bought this car after quickly selling (unplanned) one of my CRX's. It was rough, but had a few things that drew me to it...
1. I've never owned this particular chassis
2. It was a CX
3. It had a few key interior pieces that I would want if I were to build this chassis already in it.
Outside of that, I have no idea what made me want to build another Civic, but anyway...
How it sat as purchased:
It needed a lot of work in my eyes. It was built by a kid, following what is hot as far as trends go I presume...
It was put on stands and tear down began immediately.
The more I began to dig, the more crap I found...that kept getting deeper and deeper...
Fast foward
We began fitting the new front end pieces, wheels and suspension
Fast Forward
The chassis being hauled to paint. I'll backtrack with some in between photos when I locate them.
Rear quarter damage repaired
New color in the bay
body sealed
new color laid
I've been using the same painter since 01'. Every car has been done in this same little garage in the country :bang:

Love this setup! I also like that you guys don't do the typical K-Swap with lots of super shiny blingy parts.

No doubt, thanks
Here's a few shots of the rear with the diffuser, and rear suspension all in place. We used the Skunk2 Pro SII coilovers, lower control arms and lower tie bar. The use of a sway bar setup is still up in the air.

I hope to get the final street tuning done within the next week (whenever this weather gets back to "normal"). We'll then do a dyno session.

Thank yu
Thank you, I really really appreciate hearing that. Thanks
No, not really. The coupler is close; but not as close as it may appear in the photos. Multi ply couplers in general have a fairly high tolerence to radiant heat. If it got to a point of "bothering" then we'd just wrap the header.

Excited to toss this kit on my DC2. I should maybe think of doing a build thread or something.
