little car Pr0n action
dont like threads without pics so im gunna try to flood this build whenever i can lol
i might do a full writeup of all the work depends on how lazy i get haha
thinking about the concept of extending shock travel, could you just cut off the bottom part of the stock top hat and put more bushings on the top one and have multiple bushings on top youd still have a solid base ?

nice.....progress so far..
i think the only way to extend shock travel is to make the top hat longer...You could also make your own or get some welded up..but then you already bought the GC ones.

thanks , yeah fedex sucks ***** thmotorsports rules all everyone buy konis from them but the fedex shipping ive spent the better half of today trying to get my product and they've relentlessly lied about coming to my house even today while i was working on the car since my garage is manual the fedex truck with the konis dipped down the block when i got outside ... fortuentley for me i found out the fedex that are holding the konis are local not 3hours away plus . in fact they are 30 min away haha so i might just pick them up if the worlds gay tomorow idk why im driving out to pick up my product but its the last warning i have before it goes back to chitown

Got bored tossed the combo on... i was wondering if i pushed the shocks in and turned them acouple times if that messes it up or adjusts the rebound or dampning?

Nope, that's probably the highest the front is going to go with the extended top hats. I had the same problem with Koni/GC's/GC top hats on my old Wagon. I couldn't get it high enough for my liking. For the Wagon I would skip the extended top hats all together. They're not needed.

i see thanks yeah i was begining to think that although it feels way to good to take it off ! btw did you try to compress the spring?
it might be more benifical in the rear im thinking, side note i found out what could be causing my A/C not to work!
No belt ! go figure all it does is tell me either the guy before me didnt want it on , it snapped or it doesnt work so again the p. owner didnt want it on .
i just wanted to let everyone know this car is very fun to drive, very well planted through the turns its by far ... THE BEST CAR EVER.
one one more thing. power steering is gay.

thanks yeah it could use a little more tuckage in the rear. next up all the fluids / oils filters vaccums .
i worked on the car for a good while today but its so effin hot i was just getting fustrated , the A/c compressor makes a clanking noise and im pretty sure it doesnt belong on the car its on the entire A/C system looks to be retrofitted . . but yeah long story short i cant even get a belt on it to see i tested the lines and they were empty also .
i did find the powersteering swing arm bolt though and cleaned the rad. extreme i know ; )

The SOHC MPFI ZC that came in the 87-91 JDM EF's were rated at 120PS, which is 118.36 HP. That's straight from the brochure.
What mount are you replacing in the rear? I've replaced the one that attached to the rear cross member, though it still bangs if you do a shitty gear change. I was thinking about doing a lash adjustment, and fluid change this week hopefully.
Just a FYI too, the Viscous coupler isn't serviceable either. I Just remember reading you wanted to 'lube' the drivetrain.

yeah after i got the konis on the cars way more stable when i shift it still knocks when i shift hard , i was refering to the mount under the spare tire where the drivetrain mounts in the rear. and as far as lubing goes i just ment the diff im just not familar with terms im used to rod linkage and fwd haha
whats a lash adjustment?
edit nvm yeah my valves are all over the place im planning on doing that when i get a new head gasket.
nice build!
