Default EFamily presents: 96accordsir's TGP EF Build

so ive always wanted a build thread on h-t and now that i have so many future plans ive decided im ready. my ef was only $400 but it was a piece of crap. and it had 360,000+ miles.

the car after alot of work

i wish i had a pic of it when i got her. she was faded white and it looked like someone had took a hammer the the whole car then took it threw a destruction derby. the fenders, hood, and filler pieces were completely destroyed and had to be replaced. as you could tell in the pics the bumpers are far from perfect as well. the rear driver quarter panel was fully dented in so u could see the top of the tire!
and it looked like it was rearended on the passenger side. not to mention it was a monster truck.

pretty clean interior too bad its blue

had to replace the ripped seats

night shot. HELP! A mexican is trying to steal my car! lol

flat tire

FTMFW

i love macro shots almost as much as i love my super old skool accord ****

new tires and wheels

EFamily

my brother showing off his quick release while driving

more EFamily

low-ri-der

the car in my favorite state ever

my brother blew his motor so i figured i'd take it off his hands and rebuild her

the motor is an ls-vtec obviously. the motor was rebuilt to the standards of the amazing " how to build a reliable ls-vtec" thread. I used P73 pistons, all new oem belts, bearings, gaskets, pumps, etc. ARP rod bolts and head studs. the first thing i did after getting the motor rebuilt was purchase some ITR/CTR cams and a chipped p28 with skunk2 basemap. i heard that cam combo is a sexy combo so i figured i'd try it out.

the tranny was a stock LS tranny so obviously had to replace that

o ****! whats that! are those SIR seat?! lol

uh oh. do i spy rears as well? look at those rear headrests! haha

close up

mint crx dash

the current beast

i finally got the Hasport mounts and shift linkage, new axles, jumper harness, exedy six puck, and lightweight flywheel.

so the new motor is ready to go in

finally

later i decided she needed a paint job and my friend was gonna let me use his garage

all packed up

and good to go
this truck was sick he was doing burnouts towing my car.

sneak peek(the paint is NOT blue its just the HID light makes the pics look wierd)

sneaky snake

wire tuck time( done by my brother)

JUST A JOKE. relax

car back at my house with the motor in

didnt finish over there so i made a horrible decision by finishing the job in my drive way. these parts came out horrible and alot of orange peel. different gun, compressor, and surroundings made a HUGE difference.

SEXY

new wheels

ricey huge apexi N1( sounds real nice though)

battery tray destroyed

sanded and sprayed. cleaned up the bolts as well lol

i definitely need the rest of the tuck

not done but definitely sexy

sick *** camry lip

interior needed a detail and i still need a taillight( i somehow lost it while painting)

vomit

i love this dash

all done

decided to polish the fuel pump cover

i didnt have any finer sand paper or polish so this will have to do

thnx for looking everyone what do u think?

i made a cart at majestic(website with oem honda parts) today and found out my order is going to be $552.84 shipped. not bad considering all im getting.

front bumper face-87176
rear bumper face-87198
front right/left bumper slide assy.-85077/85079
rear right/left bumper slide assy.-85088/85090
right and left door handles-85446/85467
all six side molding protectors and all clips-87490/87502
black strip under rear windshield-87462
si front air spoiler lip-87182

if u ask me thats cheap

i got some smoked amber corners i made with the tamiya model paint and oem smoked amber side markers which are not pictured.
i also have a rediculous custom built header and traction bar not pictured.
