god damn all the hate. just cuz hes not on the jdm badwagon big [freak]in deal. jdm is the new rice. to each his own. theres a stock si sedan running 14.0s and look at ranger with his c6z06, bone stock running 10.85s on drag radials. both are times that sound impossible for the cars to be stock. he may have a freak and may be a hell of a driver. my question is, when you run your car do you powershift? (not let out of the gas between shifts). either way man thanks for sharing and no matter what on here, people are gunna hate. just go ahead and buy a nice flame suit lol.

My brother raced his Stock 93 civic si with a d16z6 with no clutch and he got a 16.6. Remember folks, the si hatch is heavier then an eg 4door. So..My other friend with a powerful gutted hatch and ls motor ran the same track and ran 15.5. This ls hatch was real mean on the streets and everyone swore it was going to run 14's not to mention the competition clutch and 9 pound flywheel it had. Well my point is that some motors are stronger then others and my brothers single cam kept up with ls's all day. So maybe this man's type R motor is the little type r motor that could. My friend Bamboo ran an 11.2 on a STOCK boosted ls/vtec in an integra. So I believe that this man ran the time he claims he did.</TD></TR></TABLE>

those times are def. fast... sound "impossible" but people have to go outside the box and not just follow only the numbers that make sense... like i said, 13.38 was the best, usually its in the 14 range

anyways, that's old news... quick question.. who here thinks white ce28's would look alright with the blue? just a thought of mine.. i'd appreciate any input

by the way Slow Ek... do they have JDM style flame suits available??? haha, thanks for the good joke!

Not to be a dick, but if I had to guess by the way the rest of the car looks I would say that it probably came with that motor when you bought it...

yea, everyone's entitled their own opinion... seems like most don't like, but some do.. but it's all good... just wanted people's honest opinions, that's all..... thanks for the positive input Nysh

anywho, so who here thinks volk ce28s (15 in) would look nice?? i'm thinking championship white with the red lip (or rotas if i want to save the $$$) or other rims in mind? i'd like suggestions, i don't know too many rims, but would like some listings for white rims, just have a feeling white rims would look pretty good with the captiva blue...

also, JDM headlights have come to thought, not to sure yet, just a thought... there's always minor tweaks here and there that pop up.... i'm sure a lot of you have been there haha

^ Always a great asset for staying positive through negative comments. Build your car the way you want. The car is for you; nobody else on here. CE28's will look good on there. Good luck finding some.

seriously you guys are being bitches.
the OP came here to show us his car NOT to start an argument.
who gives a **** if he thought he was hitting over 200 hp He already stated that he didnt know. and as for the time slip again who gives a ****. the time could be wrong but thats what HE think it is. let it be. he built this car FOR HIMSELF not for the JDM bullshit thats outthere. i HATE how honda-tech flames a guy for building a car to his likeing even though its not JDM.

TO THE OP: keep doing what your doing. there just giveing you

Nice engine swop. Very strong motors the jdm b18's. I did a 14.5 in my bone stock 96spec jdm teg. I went to the dragstrip as a laugh with a few mates, tegs arn't really at home unless its a track or a country road, but first time out, never been on a strip before and 14.5 was my best out of 7 runs. No burnout, warmup, shiity michelins on the front.

Keep the faith mate, 7 embarassing pages of crap, thread needs cleaning up

hey all.. been a while since I've posted an update.. so here goes

Like I said before, was looking into 5Zigens... I decided to save the few extra hundred dollars and go with Drag Dr17s, in 15" by the way lol... bronze with the polished lip... I think they look great with the blue.. along with those I picked up some Falken ziex 912s, 205/55/R15.

Had to do a little bit of tweaking with the camber and toe, it's all set and good to go now

I also ordered some DC sports race headers on Saturday.. they just came in today. Sadly, I couldn't find a real pretty set all polished up.. but I actually think the ceramic coat looks pretty good. Sucks though, of course it came with the flange but not the donut gasket haha .. so that's been ordered from the honda OE guys... should have that in on Friday... plan on installing it on saturday morning! i'll get some pics up when i get the chance!
