Dc4LsTeGs BuIlD ThReAd..REAL 98 EK9 CTR..LOTS OF PICS
So Ive had this car for 2 years now, and I figured it was time to put a build thread up. So, I picked this car up when I was 17 now im 19. I got the BARE shell with nothing on it except dash and rear bumper for $1200..yes only $1200 and it IS A REAL RHD CTR REGISTERED HERE IN CALI. I had to drive 8 1/2 hrs. to pick it up, then trailor it back home. I had a 95 gsr before this so I ended up selling that to fund this build.Thanks to RazorsRacing for putting this thing together, especially all the wiring that had to be done since none of it was installed when I got the car. All work was done at home, in my garage. Right now the car is sitting again while im rebuilding the motor since I cracked my ringlands

Lol It was only 4 lug on the way home those first couple pics and it was 4 lug all the way around when I bought it the owner had parted the 5 lug. I picked up the 5 lug coversion 2 weeks after I picked up the shell

fresh... ill deff cop a ctr shell anyday for dat price .. just da rhd clip is almost the same amount .....lol but knowing me on how i am low on budjet.. i wouldve smaked a single cam non v... in it lol everyone will try to race me here and ill be like nah fooo! shyts to f#cking fast for the streets lmfao

Thanks lol yea just decided to make one. Mainly because the cars not that close to being done yet. Still needs paint and cage, and possibly some more things. Those are my next 2 main things though after the motor gets done

You just repainting it black? CCW Classics would make your car fawkin bawss! I know they are expensive, but fyuck would it look sexy as hell!

Yes it will be repainted FBP. I wanted a car with a crazy color paint job, but I'm not going to change the original color of a type r. Yea ccws would look nice as f**k on it I've thought about having those on it since I got it. But I don't have the money right now for real rims

Gotcha. I still can't believe you are what, 19 right? Your car is gonna be probably the nices CTR when your done with it.

Yea 19. Thanks lol that's what I'm going for, but its going to take a lot of time and work. Hopefully in the next couple years I can get this car done, with where I want it to be, where I feel comfortable taking it to meets and photo shoots. Right now I just want to finish building my motor so I can drive her again.
