Added a few more washers to the rear camber arm on drivers side and was able to get both sides at -1.1 in the rear and some how manged to get the fronts to both be -1.3. Weird since no camber kits!
I dont know how this happened...????
So I figured since a new bumper is coming soon why not play around....

I need some advise about what RPM I should try launching on 23" slicks. Between my jumpy tach's(think I figured it out) and fear of breaking ****, I was not launch as high as I should have been and kept bogging off the line.

I was probably launching around 3k-3.5k. My ICM on my new distributor is acting up so I need to send that off for a replacement and that should solve my jumping tach. I need to get with you Blake and go ahead and get Neptune. I don't think I will be boosting until the wife is done with nursing school and working again.

Kinda hard to read but if I am getting this right, you basically have dropped 2 tenths - 4 tenths off your time from the slicks?

Yep and I am still bogging a little on the launch. 9.2102 is my best last trip to the tract and best so far. 9.58 is the best slip( alot I cant find still) I had while on street tires. First trip on slicks was a best of 9.5391. A little more seat time and I am hoping to get into the 8's!!!
Here are some pics of the TB install I did last week that went so awesomely smooth, or you would have thought!!!
Bought a PP 65MM TB last year. Put it on shelf for year. Pull out and decided to install. Well, not paying attention, the TB I bought had a fitv that was blocked off but caused a huge air leak. This was because of the thermal gasket that I bought did not accommodate a FITV since my swap is a 98. Making a temporary fix, I used JB weld. I will be buying a new TB soon.
Also had to buy a yard's worth of gasket maker to make this little guy...
Got tired of the shitty look that my black side mirrors with authentic white chips all over!!! So...
Then decided on some visor vents. I liked the OEM vents but for $30, it was hard to surpass the simple function of these...

How did you find out the ITR trans has a 4.7fd? Do you have a noticeable drop in rpm when shifting into 4th and 5th gear. That's a indicator of the the 4.7fd trans with gsr 4th & 5th.

The 4.7fd JDM ITR transmission is very nice. I sometimes wish they would have left the original 4th gear and changed only 5th. I use to have a 4.7fd USDM ITR trans and that was great for a tight road course. How did you get such a fantastic deal ($200)?

My step brother had no use for the transmissions or turbo setups and they had been sitting for years at his moms house. I just got her on my side to help get the stuff out of her house.

I finally ordered Neptune rtp and began tackling some of the body issues. I'm excited to learn how to tune and regret not paying my buddy to do the body work!!!

I am back to working out of town during the week so less time working on the hatch. I did order a Innovate MTX-L wideband yesterday. I am thinking of getting a tunerview II for my single din location rather than a bunch of gauges... Next pay check.

I experienced my first auto-x this past weekend and had a blast. Even though I feel I did pretty goo, I want to do better. I am debating on picking up some hoosier A6's. My times were comparable to a new grandsport vette running in SS class.

Last run of the day and I was going all out to shave some time... but that turned into a cone killing time.

have you ran your car at a 1/4 track and got a time?
my 1/8th mile time and mph are identical to yours and the best I can do in the quarter is a 14.9.
just hoping to find someone to compare my setup too. I thought maybe their was something wrong with my motor. maybe there's nothing wrong and should just leave it be.

Yeah I ran at IFO Montgomery 2012. Unfortunately I lost most of the time slips from that day but I do have two that are posted at the top of this page. It looks like 14.7 at 96 mph and if I remember correctly that was one of my best. I think I was averaging 14.8-14.9. I haven't had the chance to try a 1320 with my new slicks but I have a feeling I will be boosted by the time IFO rolls around this year.
