I bought my S2 used for $20,000. It had 37,000 miles on it, and in great condition. I've had my '03 S2K for about a year now, and I figured I'd show how far my car progresses. Here are some pictures as it sits with pictures of the mods:

This is where I've started: AP2 front bumper



Next Mod was the OEM Hard Top and Volk GT-7's in 18x7.5 +50 and 18x8.0 +50, during this time, it was also time to change the pads, so I went with Hawk HP+ pads:



Unfortunately, my diff blew up on me. So I started looking into building a diff, I found PuddyMod Racing out of Florida who builds custom diffs for the S2000. I after a lot of research and debate, I went with a Custom Reenforced Diff built by PuddyMod himself. The picture below illustrates the difference between the 1.stock caps (top), the Comptech Reenforced Caps (middle), and PuddyMod Racing Caps (bottom).

I went with 4.56 gears Cryo-Treated because of the diff failure that I had. When the diff blew up, the ring and pinion teeth went all over the place inside the diff itself. I went with the extra $100 investment for peace of mind:





And finally the built diff:



I went through a couple other parts that I bought but never got a chance to install, like the NRG Shock Tower Bar X-Brace. I couldn't install it when I got my Comptech Intake, which I found for a great deal:

In the next few months, I will have a new J's 60 RS Exhaust, KW Variant 3 Coilovers, and any other parts I find for a good deal along the way. Hope you guys enjoy it! More pics to come....

doing good. slow day at work today, half the people in the office are gone.

i saw your thread of the ATS folks, but photobucket is banned at my work, so i can't view any of the pictures.. i'll check it out later when i get home.

The J's 60 RS is coming this week, and I may have some new wheels coming next week! Some Advan RG II's are looking real nice, and the price is just right. I hope I don't win the bid for the CE28's though...

well, this took a LOT longer than how long it was supposed to be, but I installed my nice suprise today

So easy to install my new J'S 60RS ! Sounds amazing...I'll post some better pictures tomorrow if it's not raining still tomorrow!
