99 EK CTR Conversion Build ( Shaved and Tucked )
Sup. Ive posted my build thread everywhere on multiple sites and thought I would post it in this section also.
Plans
Vitara Pistons
Eagle H Beam rods
CTR wing
CTR carpet
CTR Skirts
CTR Front and Rear lip
JDM Fenders
Diamond Racing wheels 15x10 all the way around
Koni and Ground controls
Shave and tucked bay and Hatch
(No plans on what turbo I will be running)
OKAY so heres the photos so far
First day I got it
Started pulling the motor a few days later, Rod had shot threw the block.
A Week later we had time to start pulling the head apart.
hole in the block. Not the small bb size one but right above it has a thumb size hole threw the block.
Pulling the manifold out and hoses.
Pulling the motor out (about 3-4 weeks after I bought the car)
Had a buddy call me up and told me he had a bottom end for me and ETC parts
Shaving the hatch...
^^ dont mind the dirt in the driver side rear seat part, Happen'd when I pulled the carpet up. (Getting type R Carpet)
Getting the bay ready for welds. Nov 6 2010
I didn't have time to clean up the inside of the car before I took photos but its w/e...
Also I didnt take a photo of where I had almost got the old bent lower core support off but I didn't get to finish because I need a new blade.
More to come soon.

Both lower core support and bumper support were removed today. Also started welding in pieces for the firewall hole deletes. And a lot of sanding has went down.... Photos up tomorrow.

Re: 99 EK CTR Conversion Build ( Shaved and Tucked )
Havent been working on it much lately due to it being cold outside. I need to finish grinding down a few more welds and then I can get back to sanding.
Yes I know there are still alot of highs and lows...
Im still pushing to get this painted and maybe running by spring IA.. Parts will start being ordered once I get close to finishing the bay.
If anyone has ever done a complete shaved by as what Im doing you know the pain im going threw on this ****.. Dont think I would ever do it again.

The build has been going very slow and I apologize to all my subs. But it has been like 20 Degrees average here and it is now starting to warm up. But the firewall is almost out.
Also dont ask as to why I took the firewall shield out "I did because I didnt notice that you could take it out with it still on there, Thought that there was welds behind it I needed to get to.
Also ordered my CTR Folding mirrors.
