so i got a car a few months back.. and i figured i'll start a build thread...


Here's what it looked like when i brought it home.. BONE STOCK!!







after a couple days i took my rota boosts off my DA and put em on my new ej6...





my buddy just crashed his ek and had a brand new VIS carbon fiber hood so i picked it up off him for 300 bucks..



got tired of the boosts and i traded them for some black group n's with a red lip (got old quick)!





traded the group n's for some clean *** si's...





i was getting tired of my civic being a 4x4... so i picked up some tokico blues and no name coilovers (horrible ride)
i also was missing a side skirt so i went online and found someone selling a set of milano red si side skirts so i picked em up






got a mugen style lip.. but i didn't like it... so it didn't last very long lol




i had my momo wheel and quick release left over from my da.. so i ordered an NRG short hub for my ej and put on my wheel combo
i also picked up some black gsr leathers







got bored of stock exhaust and picked up a used tanabe racing medalion off craigslist.....







started getting some more overtime and work and i got some good suspension... koni yellows with ground control top hats front and rear with 430f and 400R springs rates..






got some oem bumper plugs from hondaautomotiveparts.com..





got tired of the ricey looking tanabe and got a greddy sp2 super quiet catbach exhaust, at the same time i got the exhaust i got a jvt engineering header and a bbp cold air intake..










after a couple weeks of saving i got some more suspension stuff! got me an asr subframe brace and sway bar combo..
got asr rear end links and a set of skunk 2 lca's...









got some brand new bf goodrich super sport as's.. and some si tail lights and went out for a photo shoot down by the water...













so that brings us to current.... i got a set of EX front lca's on the way off ebay... and my energy suspension bushings just came in today.. just bought an EX front sway bar last weekend.. the ex flca's will come monday... what do you guys think?????

Looked better on the blues and no-name coilovers. Adjust the GC's down some and it will look a whole lot better.

oh and your lip wasn't mounted right.

i agree.. i liked the slammed look as well, however.. when your slammed you don't handle as well and not to mention i live in washington and it's winter season.. i'm gonna lower it a little bit more this summer... and as for the lip.. what do you mean it was mounted wrong??? i'm gonna get an oem sir front lip.. i'm just saving every penny i have right now so i can get a b16b by next month... we'll see how it goes...

See how the sides are tilted upwards, it should be nice and level all the way across like this.

ya i see what your saying.. i didn't really like that lip cause it wasn't really easy to mount.. i really wanna sir lip.. oem mounting hardware and all that.. much better looking and way cleaner...

what's everyone think of the carbon fiber hood? think it looks good? or did it look better with a stock hood?.. maybe a stock hood with an oem bra with the civic embroidered into it? just throwing the idea out there.. i kinda like the carbon fiber but i'm getting bored with it..

Thanks. Yeah it's my work in progress. It will be getting fitted with a nice LS swap in about 2 weeks.

i think it's nice work in progress where did you get your grill from ? does it line up real good? i'm planning on getting a b16b swap here in the very near future... you gonna boost the ls?

I like the carbon hood on the red. Kinda makes the car "pop" ya know. I picked the grill up local from a guy that had it for sale. No I'm not gonna boost it. Not a fan of turbos, but I may do a supercharger on it, but we'll see about that one.

so, next up is a b16b.. then after that i'm going to upgrade my front knuckles to ex/si knuckles and run 11" rotors and itr calipers! should be an interesting few months.. stay tuned..
