I would like to start things off by saying I am the boyfriend of the female who building this EK just posting up the build because she doesn't have time during the day to do the forums like I can. But this is all her build, her ideas. I am just a helping hand she does 75% of the build. I am just helping. Lets get this started its a 1999 Honda Civic Sedan I will post a list of what is already in boxes.

I truthfully can't tell you because I don't think she even knows.

The Goal for this car is a Car that has ***** and can go very loud. Me and Her are both on Team Shok Industries for Canada. So this will be a sound car that isn't a clouch. Here are some pictures of the car!



As you see from the pictures above its completely stock except from the Rims and Tint.

All these pictures that are about to be posted are from night one! This build officially started last night at 6:30pm




We started to completely strip the interior so we can check for rust and rocker guard the whole thing a apply the Shok Mat.


Front to back is striped completely. Just have to clean it all and apply the mat. Since she decided to forget all 8 cans of Rocker Guard at home we decided to start on the exterior.

We started by taking off the front clip sept for the bonnet.





We took off the front clip because we are doing a complete wire tuck and bay shave before the B18C is installed. Plus we want to put on the fogs and everything for the front clip.

We got bored so I told her to tape up her lenses of the headlights and taillight so that way she can seal them. I don't trust Ebay lights from experience and don't want the money dont to waste. I am using windshield sealer so taping them up is to protect the lenses.




Now that its about 12am we decided to go home and get some sleep. So we left the car just like this.

The spool says 4awg they sent the wrong one but I am keeping it till I get the proper spool. But its just to show what it looks like.

Sorry for the crappy pictures I will clean off the iPhone tonight so its better quality.

Lots more to come this will be a crazy winter so more feedback the better and keep a look out on this build.

Well I package JUST came in figured I would post it up. 50ft spool of 1/0 awg from Shok Industries.



Also last night we went and paid for the full swap here is some pictures.

And we sealed the headlights

Nice job. Just did 100sqr feet of sound deadner material and also ran 1/0awg wire with 2 amps, eq, 2 12's. blablabla looks like a good start. Nice to other civics trying to achieve sound.

Last night was a pretty good night for us we starter by taking apart the motor disconnecting the harness best we could. We didn't have any catch can't so draining fluids was not a option last night here is some pictures of taking apart the motor.



Their she is taking off the manifold.
Next are pictures of us laying down rockerguard and testing the new SHOK mat.




And this is how we left the shop last night. Took the bonnet off as you can see.

We want to compete in Db Drag for Bass Race 139.9 or big mid 140's we are building for a specific class. If we hit 150 awesome. Never know but what we are putting in here it actually might! Thanks for the interest!

Just build the right box and seal off the trunk. Your goals should be achievable. Like where this is going.

We will be doing all different box designs whatever does best using MDF we will build it again with 3/4 Russian Birch Plywood. Just for extra quality.

Nothing happened yesterday just rockergaurded the whole interior again to use up the rest of the cans to let it dry. No pictures of that, But we did get something from Shok Industries . We got a SHOK 2 here is a pictures.

Then why post at all? If you dont like his build move on to another topic. He and his gf are putting in work and building it the way they want it. take pride in it and make it your own I say. Doesnt look like anything they're doing is gonna make the car a hazard on the road so I say thumbs up.

The only thing I would agree with is the Sleeves and the MSR Rims. The Sleeves are because she has never driven a lowered car before so why go expensive till we know she likes it then upgrade to better. And the Rims came with the car so I can't complain, And will probably won't stay, But thank you for you feedback good or bad is fine with us.

Check back after the winter please so you can see the progress and maybe change your mind.
