1991 Nissan Skyline build thread
Pics on Page 1, 2
Have had this car for almost two years now, and I have finally decided to take this project car seriously. Its off the road, and will be getting built slowly but surely. Wana keep track of all the mods I will do in this thread. Everything from the bottom up no matter how small will be posted in here. It was bought bone stock, came with stock tape deck, stock rims, stock everything.
Specs:
1991 Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M
RB20DET
215hp@6500rpm
185ft/lbs@4200rpm
Had 44,xxxKMS when I bought it, now has 55,xxxKMS
Mods that have been put into it as of this post:
GTR Clutch
K&N Filter
NISMO Leather Shift ****
Apexi 3.5" Catback Exhaust
3" Test Pipe
Heres what she looked like the day I drove her home, smelt like all other JDM cars I have sat in...I miss that smell. I think they spray the container the cars come over in with a cleaning solution. What ever it was it smelt like a new car when I got it.
Right after I picked it up, next to my Skyline is my old EF. Drove out with a friend and he drove the EF home.
First mod, bought new.
And one cool pic I took after some freezing rain that was on my car when I came out in the morning.
Updates will follow as parts are bought.

Car will never be "done" But it will be back on the road by June. New rims are on the way. Along with some other NISMO goodies. Will post pics when they get here.

Re: (JDM-Vic)
Whole car has been painted, the side skirts, and rear valances, will be installed later. I am trying to find the ever so rare electric motorized front lip for the Type M. It comes down at 70km/h and can be controlled inside the cabin with a switch.
Heres my old deck, its a MD/CD recorder...dont ask me why you would want to record MDs inside your car.
I might put it back in but I dont like the fact that its not removable.

Re: (CBURKE)
Motor tear down has begun. Someone in Japan didn't know what a torque wrench was and snapped two exh. manifold studs in the head. Tomei head gasket on order, along with a OEM gasket kit to replace every rubber gasket. Also, I will be upgrading to a RB25 turbo and running a conservative 14psi.
