Re: 1989 Honda Civic Si OEM Restoration
Just found this old picture from last year. This is from my paint and body guy right after he did the paint restoration.
This is before I repainted the front bumper and before I installed any new trim. Just a simple cut and buff on the factory paint

Build is amazing im shocked on the number of parts you are able to find due to it being 20+ years.

Some tasteful mods are always nice so long as they are reversible and don't take away from the integrity of the original car. Nice suspension and wheels are still nice on a simple build. I still get the urge to slap some Mugen wheels on my car from time to time and perhaps sometime down the road I will, but for the time being I am very please every time I see this car in its stock form.
Great build and I admire how close to OEM you're keeping the car.

I have to ask, where did you get the Honda Access window visors? I've been looking for those for a long time and have had no luck.

Took me a long time to find them. You just have to have extra money laying around whenever they pop up for sale because they go quick for a lot of money

Thanks everybody your support keeps me going. That being said here goes round two for BNIB armrest. Yes another BNIB SH3 armrest!!! I found this in an old stock somewhere in Germany. Thanks to a good source overseas he helped locate this in an old inventory that was thought to have been cleared out years ago.
I have had a few people get angry because I'm "stealing all of the good parts left" but many of these parts have been long lost and on the verge of being lost forever. In many cases I save these parts from the garbage bound fate of a dead stock inventory cycle count. As many Honda dealer would say today if these parts are still on the shelf then a parts manager is not doing their job.

Okay, this is the epitome of perfection for an ED chassis. I could only DREAM of having something like this. Everything on this car, is how I'd imagine having another ED chassis. Many major major major props to you.
