It should be this part #: EAR-165056ERL
I believe it's 5/16th.

Went to start the car lastnight, starter not working Did some troubleshooting and I was able to verify the starter actually works by giving it direct power from battery. Got it back in the trans and it was clicking loud, but not turning the engine over.

Also, got a small fuel leak with my little Earls fuel filter :/ Need to fix that as well.

No welding was done. The bondo adhere's to bare metal, so I wire wheeled it down to bare metal all around the seam area. If it cracks...oh well I don't really give a crap heh.

Well I'm having problems getting the car to start. I fixed my starter problem, I just didn't have the chassis/engine grounds clean enough. Had to take some paint off down to bare metal around my grounds then the starter worked fine.

Now I have an issue with spark plugs 1,2,3 not sparking. The only one sparking is #4.

For fixes, I tried in this order...new plug wires, new rotor and cap, then whole new dizzy assembly. Same problem still persists

I'm not sure what to check now. It must be wiring from the ecu to the dizzy plug? That's the only thing I can think of right now.

My poor new motor needs to start and get warmed up so it can get set in and seal up. I've got small amounts of oil coming out at the head gasket on #2 cylinder and small amount of coolant coming out at head gasket on #4

Hey man, glad to see you're back in the game! Engine bay looks very clean. What engine management did you go with?

Well, looking like I won't have it back until middle of next week. Shop is swamped, but it will be worth the wait.

Ahh, I was trying to decipher what you could have meant but couldn't

Yea, just off the shelf duplicolor clear coat. One of the Napa's here in Boulder does paint matching to OEM paint codes, so I got a few cans of that.

Not as good of a job as an hplv sprayer will do, or whatever they are. But I figured for inside the engine bay it would be good enough for me.

Ok, so finally a real update! After a laundry list of small problems that needed fixing, the car is finally on the road again. I've got about 160 miles on it and hope to have the engine broken in within a couple weeks. Not many new pictures except some exterior shots of the car after I got it on the road. I'll throw in some pictures from the Bandimere event this past weekend (in place of the cancelled Nopi event) that I snapped toward the end of the day, since I didn't get there til real late.

And, on to the pics, don't forget you can see them all at the following links:

Engine and turbo build parts

Turbo and related installations
Engine Swap
Engine bay shave, paint, and wire tuck

Nice work...Bay looks hella clean for being rattle canned.

What primer did you use and what did grit did you scuff the bay down with? Also what did you clean the bay after sanding and bondo so the paint would adhere properly?

Thanks. I just used Duplicolor primer and clear coat, and base coat from paintscratch.com. For just scuffing the bay I think I used 400/600 grits. Cleaned bay w/ simple green and hose down multiple times between sanding sessions.

Car is running pretty close to "good" now. I still have an idle issue on cold start, idle bounces between 1000-1500, but once warmed up it is fine. Not sure what is going on with the cold start but it was worse before we made adjustments today, so getting better.

Just read through this whole thread while at work. Great stuff! Makes me want to completely gut and rebuild my 94 real nice and clean.
